abysmal crowd at the SFS ....but not unexpected

chooks are gone for 2012
dragons fans not convinced their side will do anything even if they did limp into the 8

lets hope Knights fans balance this woeful turnout with a monster crowd at Hunter Stadium this arvo ...

Poor crowds was the reason they dumped Saturday afternoon games. Anyone suggesting that the NRL should return permanently to that time slot has to be kidding themself.

except
this game was played in Melbourne not Sydney
& they play a lot of football on Sat arvos ... & its well attended

so the poor crowd here has zero to do with it being a sat arvo

Fully agree.

No excuses for this one.

Great work Newcastle.

Cowboys don't really have any excuses not to hit at least 20k.. Which I think they will do.

Probably has more to do with Melbourne's abysmal performance of late, and Penrith not really being much of a drawcard.

Still disappointing, I reckon a lot of members will be kicking themselves for not turning up given the result.

If there's anywhere that Saturday arvo should work it's Melbourne.
