12,947 at Aami Park.

Mates night a success. Good MNF crowd for down here.

The Storm this year have had only 2 crowds below to 10k which were against the Panthers and Titans, as opposed to 4 last year (Knights, Raiders, Sharks, Roosters).

On the other end of the scale they've only had 1 crowd over 20k, as opposed to 3 last year.

Overall an average of 12,693 for this year, down from 14,246 last year.

Slightly worrying IMO when considering they're still high up on the ladder. They'll need to really push their memberships this year as well as increase advertising and enhance marketing.

They have exactly the same problem the Titans do.

Have tried to get around it by offering 1 game memberships (Without needing to show any ID to purchase) at what would be considered standard footy prices down here, but you'd always see more people lining up at the window than the tent so not sure how well advertised the significant discount was.

12k is a solid crowd for a Monday night for the Storm. I thought they'd struggle to hit 5 figures.

Stand behind the sticks seemed full, was there a deal to get in that area?

Lovely stadium, deserves 20k crowds. Would like to see a strategy for the storm to build up their crowds. FTA tv in Victoria at long last may help generate interest.

It was mates night. Half price tickets. They should make the whole stadium 15-25 dollar seats.

should be a big drawing round to finish season for 2012

3 games having direct say in who makes the 8
3 others sorting out positions in the 8
1 determining if a side gets a home final or not

only the Parramatta V Dragons games has no bearing on the finals
but its a match featuring 4 great servants of our game & their respective clubs retiring
so it should draw well also

Broncos V Penrith 40,000
Knights V Souths 25,000
Bulldogs V Roosters 25,000
Tigers V Storm 20,000
Titans V Manly 15,000
Warriors V Raiders 10,000
Sharks V Cowboys 15,000
Parra V Dragons 35,000

180K or so , may even be a touch bigger.

Broncos V Penrith 34,500 (Penrith never draw big crowds)
Knights V Souths 22,000 (Newcastle are GONE)
Bulldogs V Roosters 22,000 (Hopefully we'll get bigger)
Tigers V Storm 17,000 (Tiger's are GONE)
Titans V Manly 13,000 (Titan's are GONE)
Warriors V Raiders 7,000 (Will be lucky to be 70 the way they're playing)
Sharks V Cowboys 12,000 (Cowboys don't attract the crowds in Sydney)
Parra V Dragons 27,000 (Should've stayed at Parra Stadium).

Not confident on a big Dogs crowd strangely enough. 19-21k tops.

Broncos V Penrith 30k Brisbane on a massive slump, Penrith aren't a big draw
Knights V Souths 25k Old boys day should see them get something of a crowd
Bulldogs V Roosters 23k Can't see it being too big for some reason
Tigers V Storm 17k Leichhardt factor to prop it up a bit, but won't be anything special
Titans V Manly 11k Based on the Titans crowd calculator, could be a lot less
Warriors V Raiders 8k Could be real ugly
Sharks V Cowboys 15k Really have no idea with this one
Parra V Dragons 25k Triple what it would have gotten if it was played 2 months ago (emotion obviously adds a lot to it). I don't think it warranted the move

Given the Storm play at the same time and we have to win to earn it, no. Won't be presented until either Canterbury or Melbourne's Week 1 home final.

Hopefully the approval of the development encourages a lot more Sharkies supporters out to the game. Celebrate the approval and cheer our boys for a "home" semi
