Playing the Tigers and Sharks at the SFS is an insanely horrendous decision to begin with.

Who ever is running Wests Tigers need to be sacked. I think they are really fracturing their supporter base playing all over the shop and Allianz should not be a home ground especially when playing the Sharks.

Bit disappointed with the Bunnies crowd. Should be 25,000 plus their regardless of opposition this year. Maybe it's just ANZ stadium. I know I've never liked going there apart for the GF

How can you see it?? Surely its not on in Qld live

- SFS as far as possible from the Tigpies fanbase + friday night drive/train from far west
- Game delayed on TV
- Teams in poor form
- Second game on in Sydney
- Ground too big for projected crowd

This sort of thing is probably preventable

Minimal away support and few neutrals would mean nearly all South Sydney members would need to turn up - just not possible at this stage. The crowd is good for the fixture.

A lot of excuses really

Only diehards will go to a game out of guilt. Making more fairweather supporters feel guilty for not going to a football game is a good way to piss them off and appear desperate at the same time. "A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose" - a game will attract the crowd it deserves*.

* The word "deserves" can be interpreted quite liberally in some cases (e.g. rugby union world cup finals), but at the end of the day, people turn up and pay because they want to, whether they have been duped or not. Very, very few people will go to a game out of guilt.

15,972 at ANZ. Looked much bigger than that. A little less than I was expecting but an excellent crowd when looked at in perspective.
