Good crowd for Penrith. They'd have pretty much gotten the same in any other timeslot.

Yep. Our lowest 2 crowds last year: Titans & Storm.
This year Titans & Storm.
2011 got 9k to the Storm game.

These are the sort of games the NRL should target. A history of poor crowds it's not a 1 off with those 2 teams they bring no fans well too Penrith anyway.

Canberra and Titans are going ok and got not many more. Says a lot about the schedule to me. Days like that shoulf be cheaper. Monday/Sunday nights should have cheaper tickets

I think I heard 7503 at Penrith. At the very least its not an out right lie that we seen at homebush earlier.

I think there should only be a few Sunday evening games per season as it is not fan friendly at all plus we don't have a team in Perth to take advantage of an afternoon game there being on at 6-6.30 on the east coast

If you think Sunday night games are not fan friendly try Monday nights!

If anything Sunday night games should replace Monday night. I note that the Pay TV ratings are very solid for Sunday night and this will only improve as time goes on and the NRL finally wake up to staging games on a Sunday night as opposed to a Monday night!

I'd much rather have Sunday night as the worst night of the round to attend a game than Monday night!

The Friday night game at the SFS should have been played at Leichardt Oval! The crowd at Leichardt would have been well over 15,000! It is (Leichardt)a boutique ground which fans enjoy as it has its own special atmosphere. This can't be replicated by stadiums. As soon as I heard this game was at the SFS I could see a mistake had been made by the planners!

Understandably the Tigers predicted that they may have been travelling better in the competition but I would have penciled in Leichardt regardless of performance.

People go to games for the experience at the ground just as much as the viewing of competitive teams. The "boutique" ground does have its place in the NRL and this is an example of misplaced greed on the part of the Tigers management. Hopefully the lesson has been learnt! The Cronulla Sharks did the same mistake when they used Gosford for a home game a few weeks ago!

I doubt we would have got 15k to that game. Our crowds drop off dramatically when were going bad. In 2001 we got crowds as low as 4000 at LO and our season is going just bad this year.
In fact our lowest 20 home games attendances were all at LO or CSS. Not homebush or SFS or Bluetongue or Wellington. Our fans loving the tradional home grounds is not backed up by ant fact or figures.

Slight problem, there is no Wellington bid. Great crowd though and Warriors have to better tap into this region.

Incorrect. Southern Orcas have been working on entry into the NRL for about a decade now. They for some reason don't get the media attention they should. Good ground, an area that has produced good Kiwis, connectivity with other areas (Wairarapa, Nelson, Malborough, Manawatu)... I don't know why it's never got rave reviews in the Australian media, but they are the forgotten bid for some reason.

Was there on Saturday night, awesome atmosphere, even today Warriors jersey all around Wellington. Massive potential in Wellington.

don't forget Sunday nights are for people to go to church

evening services are more popular than morning

This match of the round should have been sunday arvo.

Tv scheduling ruins crowds.
