So all the wrist slashing about our crowd on Friday against an out of town side and yet it was the biggest crowd in Oz for the round.

Now you are setting up bullshit numbers to justify the means to put the boot in.

Do you guys want League to prosper because I would expect this kind of shit from AFL trolls.

Well I'd they don't get 20k this week its a terrible effort

Should we f**k the $7mill grant to clubs a year as well?
Maybe 500,000 of it or 1 million of it at most. Lower the cap to "just" 6 million and that would be paid for.

And in return you have fan friendly scheduling that does more to grow the game. Which would then increase income in the long term by at least how much was lost and you'd have a net gain in customer satisfaction.

So you think giving tv time slots that maximises its product and ad sales is only worth $16mill a year of the $200mill they are paying? Lol. Yes we would like 6 games a round kicking off on Sunday at 3pm but that doesn't pay the bills. If fans want to support their team, get off their backsides and get to a game I am sure they could achieve that 11-12 times in a year with a bit of effort!

You have the most members, Are 1st so should get casual fans. Besides that Sydney is a huge bandwagon town so plenty of band wagoners will jump on.

I reckon we'd lose about 10% of the deal.

And noone is suggesting 6 games on Sunday arvo. The schedule breakdown is fine the way it is. We just don't have the right teams playing at the right team. If it was picked with fans in mind the ratings wouldn't drop more than 10% at most if last weekends Sunday arvo and Monday night games were swapped.

So your happy to give up $20 mill a year? Do you realise that would require an extra 666,000 fans a year to turn up to games to cover that loss?

It's why the NRL took the Channel 9/Foxtel deal they did. So next TV contract they will dictate what games are on and where. It's just 5 more years of pain before we are in control of how the game is broadcast. So Bronco's fans, enjoy all the Friday nights you have now, cause at the end of this deal, I think you guys will won't see as many as the night is spread around more teams.

Roosters fans put up a pretty good showing at Brookie on Monday night. Way more than Newcastle or Cronulla who had the luxury of Sunday games. Not many clubs get decent attendances at Brookie, seems that it's not just Manly fans who don't cross the bridge.

Dont people usually dis teams for having big crowds of bandwagon supporters that they cant convince to become regular members?
It just seems like Souths do the opposite of that.

Broncos V Titans 31k, ridiculous that this is all this fixture will get

Rabbitohs V Souths 22k, mostly souths fans can't see Tigers being too motivated to watch their team getting obliterated

Dragons V Parra 14k, should be more

Cowboys V Roosters 16k, their preffered time slot, form patchy but opposition on fire

Penrith V Warriors 10k, hopefully scrape 10k

Sharks V Raiders 14k, first home game in a while and 2 wins on the trot

Knights V Bulldogs 23k

Melbourne V Manly, 15k going on recent crowds and the history of this fixture may be more

Theres just zero rivalry with the broncos and titans.

For all Broncos fans - they are on par with teams like Penrith and Canberra.. A "meh who cares" team.
