Sfs... where people sit closer to the pubs

It's sad that 11k is actually OK

Sh1t crowd no denying but we usually pull sub 10k crowds with poor performing out-of-town clubs. We didn't get a sub 10k crowd at all last year and hopefully not this year as well. I'm disappointed with last night's turn out none the less

Origin affected round without a sub-10k crowd? I'll take it.

Broncos pax of now: 36,822.

34k I think.

SLR the Lions with only one win somehow got 25k how is that possible. If the Storm had a lions slide they won't be getting crowds like that. If these are the type of crowds a wooden spoon Brisbane team gets, then the Broncos will just be fine. Also, another 24k crowd for the Reds as the downward trend kicks in the crowd drops.

What do you think of the bandwagon nature of Brisbane sports SLR? The Broncos are the constant and the other three are the variables who keep changing every season attendance wise.

This last week the amount of marketing put into last nights Lions game was insane. Constant adds, busses plastered. With everything on this week in Brisbane, Origin, Reds, Lions and Broncos. Wow.

Reds have a much larger following than the Lions, when the Reds play the Tahs, shortly, Im sure they will get anywhere from 30-40k. Reds also have 40,800 members, unsure how many ticketed.

Brisbane folk really just enjoy when anyone does well, say, all teams performing on par it is interesting to attend a game of each and observe the crowd cultures.

Lions = Victorian expats/ Aus Kick developers.
Reds = Insane high school following + islanders.
Broncos = A mix + pensioners, they love it.

Carlton don't play on the Gold Coast this year. This is the annual chance for Shaz, Daz and the Feral pack to get the three park super pass and vomit on Cavill Avenue.

Probably has something to do with the good attendance this time around.
