Would have thought a Thursday night game at anz would have been an attractive slot this week? Royal show to draw from, ph next day so no school to worry about. And being selfish I am in Sydney and could have got in a rare live NRL fix!

Years like this consecutive Thursday night games would work well with Easter and Anzac long weekend's following consecutively. Seriously just a little bit of thought and judgement could resulted in a 100% improved draw this and next weekend.

Could be somethig like below
Thursday- nine
Friday arvo- fox
Friday night- nine
Saturday 5.30- fox
Saturday 7.30-fox
Sunday 2pm. Fox
Sunday 3pm- nine
Monday arvo- fox

Then have Thursday night and the 2 Anzac day matches on the friday

Nine wouldn't want to waste one of their Thursday night games outside of ratings.

1. Brisbane ANZAC - Given the ticket sales I will go with the safe bet and this game to hit close to 50,000. Sydney games are very unpredictable.

2. Good Friday - This is probably the hardest game to pick yet it has the most potential given the stadium capacity and 2 large supporter bases. We could see 50,000 or we could quite easily see 35,000, hardest out of all to pick.

3. Sydney ANZAC - There will most likely be 40,000 but that's as good as it will get given the stadium capacity. In saying that still plenty of really good seats available to this game with only over a week left.

4. Easter Monday - I have a feeling this crowd wont be as high as people might think. Regardless of PAX still Plenty of really good seats available on both he western and eastern stands

Still can't get over the NRL not scheduling a game for Melbourne this weekend, would have had Friday to themselves, much more attractive fixture than games at gosford and newcastle at the same time.

Yeah I know bad move on their part. Gus Guild was blowing up about that in the papers today too.

compare the paxs at the two games, monday is 15k? ahead.

they have been selling in the 400s and i think the sides will be well full.

i predict mondays crowd could be 10k over fridays

Maybe the Easter Monday game needed to be played on Easter Sunday.

I don't think the PAX numbers for the Good Friday game are correct though. I'm only going by where you can buy tickets to both games. It appears there are still heaps of tickets available on level 1 category 1/2 wheras the Good Friday game cat 1 tickets take you straight to level 4 now.

In saying that the Monday game is played 2 days later so time will tell.

Remember how they also missed the boat to put a game on in Melbourne in week 1, BEFORE the AFL season began. WHO THE HELL WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING?!?! Next year's schedule will be for Greenburg to get right. I know it's a negotiation, but surely these 2 Melbourne matches should've been a priority.

Mondays Pax was 26k 48 hours ago, i am not sure if this includes members or not but this game will easily out draw Fridays game between the Rabbits and the Dogs.

Doesn't include members. Funny enough, Bunniesman made a good point earlier.

In response to this;

Can this be right??? I thought that PAX included everybody from ANZ stadium members, to Souths season ticket holders, Bulldogs season ticket holders who get free entry to this game

Bunniesman stated;

No. Use some common sense. If that was the case PAX would start at about 50,000.

There is no way Souths v Dogs is anything but easily the most attended game of the round.

Come on people. Out of Souths, Dogs, Parra and the Tigers, the Souths-Dogs game has the 2 biggest teams involved. No way Parra-Tigers gets more.
