Yeah I think you're right. Souths have about 16,000 season ticket holders alone. Add Bulldogs season ticket holders to that as they get reciprocal rights to this game and that's already a good 30,000 people.

Does Fox have the exclusive rights to Bul v Souths maybe? Because a double header. that into news and Broncos at 7.30 works for them. Leaves the other game for Sunday.

Counting just our ticketed ones, and yours and the ANZ members and you have a number several times bigger than the current PAX. Meaning the PAX must be how many tickets have been sold.

There were huge walk ups last year on good Friday

When I arrived there were four of those sponsored covers on the seats at each end behind the goalposts and progressively they had to start taking them off to fit all the GA fans. By Kick off all 8 were taken down to fit people in.

Maybe the Rabbitohs should do discount tickets like the Eels have for the game on monday? I know last week they had 50% off for about 2 hours or something!

All bulldogs fans I would say. I dont know about anyone else but I am sick to detah of Rabbitohs crowds being inflated due to hosting th eopener and Good Friday ;-)

Except we didn't host either of those last year and still managed to post excellent averages. This year it happens to be our turn.

Personally I wish we'd host round 1 one year and then Easter the next year, rather than both at once and then none at all.

No it didn't.

Crowd was 51,686

Suncorp capacity - 52,500.

Would have thought a Thursday night game at anz would have been an attractive slot this week? Royal show to draw from, ph next day so no school to worry about. And being selfish I am in Sydney and could have got in a rare live NRL fix!
