Perhaps if you offered them back to the club - they could find a couple of deserving kids to offer them too - just a thought

Can't wait to get out their tommorrow - taking my wife and parents to the game - so that will be 3 more tickets yet to be purchased

Probably will be a heap of others where the extra one or two aren't used.

I'm sure most of the public servants, therefore a lot of their fan base got out of Canberra when they could for the long weekend and if they are smart they took the 3 for 10 deal going on with the long ANZAC weekend next week

Was listening to raiders players being interviewed on radio... claiming it to be one of their best ever crowds... etc..

Thought it must have been 17-18k ,,, not 11 ???

So, what lesson can be learn from this "experiment" for next year's draw?

People have come to the conclusion that during the Easter period, Easter Sunday is the worst day for crowds hence why the NRL played it safe and there was only one game this year. However, if it didn't work in Canberra this year (regarding the poor crowd), where should it be held next year? In a suburban Sydney ground like Leichhardt to ensure it gets a good turnout?

However, what isn't going to work is if Fox Sports is going to persist with MNF during the Easter round next year, they're going to have to put a much better matchup than Penrith vs Gold Coast. Bad decision and I hope another sub-10k crowd doesn't eventuate because of this poor planning.

36000 tickets sold for Parra v Tigers. Is this true?

+ Parramatta members + ANZ members + walk-up crowd (come on those people going to the Easter show tomorrow, it's going to be perfect weather)....this is going to look and sound very nice on tv tomorrow

Shyteeeee. What a waste.

It's a waste for the home fans of the team that has to host a MNF match; not a waste for Fox Sports though. They don't give a stuff about crowd attendances.

Not as bad as having MNF in places like Brookvale Oval, which if you've travelled on Pittwater Road during peak hour, you'll know it's a nightmare, Townsville etc. If MNF matches are persisted with, it'd be good if it was moved back half an hour to 7:30pm kickoff.

Ive said this a million times

Schedule NQ v Storm Easter Sunday night in Townsville and it will get 20k.

The club should be pushing for it.

The most expensive ticket to a Raiders game is $35. Da Fuq, nicely priced. Thats cheaper than the Brisbane Roars category one. Ha.

But the cheapest raiders ticket today was $30. Family ticket was $60.

Have the raiders not read what the rest of the league are doing this weekend.

They also promoted the kids entertainment area which was a pass the ball and a jumping castle which were both packed up before kick off.

Slightly off topic but $50 a ticket to sit in the East Lower Terrace at Dairy Farmers Stadium. That's actually fairly pricey..

I would have thought tickets to Cowboys games would have been significantly cheaper. They do have GA for $16 which is fairly reasonable if sitting on the grass behind the dead ball line is your thing.

The Panthers on the other hand out here sell their best Diamond seats for $30 which I think is very reasonable..

Comprehension isnt one of your strong points obviously.. best.. as in best for noise n inspiration

In the day .. at Seifert oval .. Raiders fans were considered the loudest in rugby league. Twice as loud as sydneys fans & 3 times louder then those passionless Qlders
I dont know where those fans have been for the last 25 years.. but they returned today & our players noticed

It was an outstanding game & the noisy boisterous crowd present made more noise & atmosphere then ive heard in many years.. it took me back to some great days.

Ps ... dragons

Thats how u .... win .... against the storm;-)

My Guess for tomorrow is 51k............you heard it here first.

It will all depend on how full the Northern and Southern Aisles are. For it to hit 51,000 both ends have to be literally 95%+ full as well as BOTH level 4 East & West...

When I try & buy Cat 1 reserved seats to this game via Ticketek I can still get them on the sides of Level 1. With the Friday game I was already getting redirected to Level 4 east by Thursday.

Last year when they hit 51,000 on good Friday all Level 1 Aisles were 97% full, Level 4 east & west were 90% full and we had a good chuck of people on Level 6 west too.

Fingers crossed tho...

I couldn't sworn level 6 was opened up last year for the 51k...
