Pretty embarrassing for the other clubs, particularly those in nsw, when the biggest crowd of the round comes from a state that doesn't even have a team.

Now if WA was admitted into the competition what would be the highest draws over there.
High: Souths, Warriors, Broncos & Storm.
Provided WA face those 4 teams annually they should average 15k+ aleast.

and seen the recently poor crowds at gosford... only poor one at perth was this year in absolutely torrential rain. and from memory they still put up 12k

Was a brilliant crowd for the conditions!

What genius schedules a local derby in wollongong ??

There is only 2 games a year that St Geo has to rule out the gong...

Anzac day and the sharks game...

How hard is it

I laugh even harder at the plodding crowds from last night. Dragons-Sharks should have been the smallest crowd of the round.

That's 3 years in a row now the Dragons have played their derby in Wollongong. If there's one game that should be at Kogarah every year this is it.

 Great crowd in Perth though.

Just back from nib, another brilliant night for RL in WA. Big crowd , great atmosphere, entertaining game, ground record broken for second year in a row. Nothing more we can do to convince the NRL to give us a club. Time to expand or accept mediocrity.

I still did see a few noticeable empty seat patches here and there so the stadium must be higher capacity then the 20500 that's reported.

Yeh we was discussing that at the ground, a few gaps in south stand and lower north. Reckon real capacity is around 23,000.

Will the Bunnies share the database of WA members with the Pirates ??

If they were to come in

I doubt it but as soon as announcement is made they will be in a position to promote membership etc at the games leading up to admission. The NRL would also have access to the ticket database I would think and can share this with the pirates.

I dont recall seeing any empty seats at all last year, I was surprised last night was bigger. Maybe some no-shows?
