Considering the stormy weather the area had this afternoon and this evening that figure is not bad
We get 4 monday nights this year, all at home, the next closest clubs all get 2. Extremely frustrating when we've had such a successful recruitment drive this year too - both because of home games, but also viewership.
Edit 4 not 5
Monday night Games
Storm 6 (4 away)
Titans 6
Cowboys 5
Sharks 5
Sad state of affairs when 3 v 7 in rd 24 gets 8k
And we all think its OK.

Under 10k for a NRL game should never be considered "not bad". It's not Aleague for goodness sake.
Went to the Broncos on Saturday.
38 bucks for GA at the gate. No wonder they rarely sell-out.
It was absolutely teeming at St Marys when I left to go to the game just after 6pm but not raining at the ground, although it had earlier. There was a line of hailstorms (red to black on the radar) from about 3pm from north of Windsor down to Campbelltown, but it largely missed Penrith. There was a huge one at Warragamba, about 15km from Penrith that seemed to just sit there for ages. I'm surprised the game got almost 9,000 to be honest.
Showed a Brisbane players attitude to Sydney crowds on Friday night, when corey norman was asked how awesome it was playing in front of big home crowd of 17,000...
He replied " it was good for a small crowd in a small stadium..."
its their own f**king fault.Think of the PC's that play for say Canberra.. No crowd, supporter motivation.
Plus the game in Bathurst means Penrith has seen 6 home games at reasonably timeslots.
Pretty disappointing given the exceptional work they did with membership. A watershed year and a lot of those members would be reconsidering the value.
