When the ground doesn't hold much more it really is.

No it isn't. Nobody forces them to play there. So that isn't a valid excuse. With their success they should be able to get huge crowds week in and week out in the big Sydney stadiums. The truth of the matter is despite unparalled success their base has not grown. Are they really any bigger as a club than they were 20 years ago? The things a Canterbury or Parra or Souths or Wests would do with that much winning...

Considering that they are based on the northern beaches and there are no other stadiums up there, where else do you suggest they play? And don't say the SFS, Manly fans have proven time and time again THEY WILL NOT TRAVEL.

This is thing. They would have members postcodes if 90% of the fans live on the northern beaches. Why would they move? Especially with no train line and terrible road access in and out.

Bunniesman lives in a world where travelling around Sydney is a breeze and getting from Manly to ANZ via the SFS is a delightful and short journey. i.e HE LIVES IN A GOD DAMNED FANTASYLAND and is hopelessly addicted to meth or ketamine or some other permanently mind altering substance.

Yep. Doesn't matter the ground all have access problems. ANZ is surrounded by 3 of the busiest roads in Sydney so that's not even any better. Though Friday night games are good for locals and TV stations

Centenary Dr on a Friday night is completely f**ked.

Also, $15 GA tickets to the tigers game if you produce a flyer advertising that price going around.

Wests have had grounds all over Sydney, from the outer South West to the east.

Souths have moved across the town.

Both those two teams would average 25-30k with the results Manly has had. ANYWHERE in Sydney.
Sold out at Brookie is over 20k.

When's the last time they got that much?

Spoken like someone that doesn't need to travel across Sydney in Peak hour.
Yep.

Spoken like someone who lives in Coffs Harbour and who has no understanding of Sydney.

Show us how to get from work in the city, back to the Northern Beaches, then get the family together and get back to the SFS before kick-off Bunniesman.

You didn't answer the question. Where do you suggest they play?

People talking about Manly fans stuck in the northern beaches like they're in Mongolia.

And Wests have some people in Campbelltown who won't travel to their other stadiums. There's plenty of Souths fans who won't travel to ANZ.

But we've got our crowds over 20k and Wests would with a bit of sustained success. And if our teams had the sort of constant success Manly had we'd have even better crowds.

Point is, Manly's fanbase should have grown enough for ANZ/SFS games to be viable by now.

That's why 15k in Brookvale against a top team is not good enough.

20k at ANZ looks pathetic give me 20k at Brookie any day of the week thanks

Not saying i would support a Manly move to ANZ, but....

- Games that draws 20k at ANZ are the shitty, average games that no one cares about. The Blockbusters get +30k and sometimes push 50k.

- Games that draw 20k at Brooky (or any suburban ground) are the Blockbusters. The average game that no one cares about get the 12k.

Again, im not saying manly should move to ANZ/SFS, but to claim that a 20k game at Brooky would only draw 20k at ANZ, history shows, is wrong....

So you think Manly should move to the SFS?
