it's always something, if your crowds are that fickle the club is doing things wrong.
Are you suggesting that the AFL game won't have any effect on the crowd for Friday's game?

You would think that but in reality it's not really the case. To give you a hypothetical example say 16,000 people show up on an average Saturday night to watch the Rabbitohs play either the Broncos or Cowboys.
Say they play the Cowboys then out of the 16,000 there will probably only be about 100 Cowboys supporters if even that.
If they play the Broncos then maybe you'll get 700 Broncos supporters. SO all in all the Broncos do get a lot more support in Sydney then the other QLD sides but not a whole lot more.
I am saying that with the range of excuses we have heard from Roosters supporters this season as to why the crowd will be poor gives the impression that the majority of them are incredibly fickle and apathetic.
Because it's fickle and apathetic to support two different teams in different codes?
Can you come up with a statement less generic next time? If you don't believe it should affect a crowd then list your reasons...
Can you come up with a more credible excuse next time?
Swans didn't even play last week and your crowd was still shit.
Wouldn't it stand to reason that if soo many easts fans are also swans fans that it would equally affect the swans crowd and ratings? or are they only choosing swans over easts and hence fickle and apathetic?
There is no way that there was 18-19k Roosters vs 4-5k Panthers. I would have said maybe 2 or 3:1, but not 4:1 as ouwet claims. Not bad considering the obstacles that were caused by the trains not running from Emu Plains to Blacktown.
The panther fans were definitely more vocal and enthusiastic from start to finish!

Just bought four tickets latest PAX is 17,679 for Bulldogs V Manly game.
That would be on target for a 24-28,000. That is a pass mark, although to be fair you can't expect the Dogs to do all the work. Manly fans, get to the game!

You're not answering the question. Do you or do you not think that the swans game will have an effect on the roosters crowd this week? Whether that makes the fans fickle, apathetic or any other word you want to use is irrelevant.
If you don't think it will have an effect, why not?
This is week 2 finals. 30k would be a more suitable pass mark?
Sellouts or close to is my pass mark for both games. It's knock out football no excuses

the easts crowd will be super bad though.
