Great to see 19k melbourne fans turn out. The game is slowly getting a strong foothold down in afl land. Now if all Sydney clubs could get equally committed fanbases we would get some awesome crowds for all Sydney matches!

Only just found out the Swannies game is on at the same time. Will have a bit of an affect on the crowd, know quite a few people who are gonna stay home and flick between the two.

It is less than ideal that the swans game is the same time as us. I don?t think many people will rush to ANZ stadium to see them play Nth Melbourne but I can see a fair few choosing to stay home and watch both.

Broncos are probably different kettle of fish. The fact would be a fair few Brisbane fans living in Sydney because of their massive following and some of the historical rivalry it's had against Sydney teams over last 25 years.
