Sellouts or close to is my pass mark for both games. It's knock out football no excuses

Agree... A sellout crowd at the SFS is anywhere between 36-44K (Depending on SCG Trust Members)... I remember Bulldogs V Parramatta in 1998 sold out in 2 days but crowd was 36K or so... Same as Bulldogs V Penrith which sold out in 2004 but crowd was 37K!

Make no mistake this game is well above South V Manly sales from last weekend, it will draw minimum 30K...

Because it's fickle and apathetic to support two different teams in different codes?

Can you come up with a statement less generic next time? If you don't believe it should affect a crowd then list your reasons...

Once Swans crowds are down because of the Roosters clashing with them you can use that argument. The fact that your fan base would prefer to watch another f**king sport than support their club in potentially their last game of the season is a damming indictment on the Roosters.

15,399 pax for roosters final on friday.

With thursday and friday to shift tickets, small walkup sales and SCGT members i predict it will be comfortably be in the 25-30k range. Maybe even 30k+ at a push

Of course the swans crowd will be affected some what by the clash, like I said I know people who support both clubs & attend games who'll be staying home to flick between the two games. It'll just be less noticeable @ the Swans game when put in relation to their end figure... 3-5 missing in a 70k crowd? compared to 3-5k missing in a 20-25k crowd.

It's also potentially the Swans last home game, just incase anyone is playing along at home. :sarcasm:

What is so hard to understand about people supporting two clubs? How is that and indictment of anyone if they support two clubs in completely different sports, please someone answer this. This isn't f**king Tasmania...

I think you're dreaming, those ticket sales aren't in line at all with last weeks, they're down a few thousand on where we were 48 hours out last week.

You're talking low 20's which is very disappointing, hope to be proven wrong though.

So you think the Swans will get 70k lol

They do not get 70k crowds anymore and last did so about 11 years ago. They've only done it twice.

Your argument essentially boils down to the fact your club isn't important enough to it's apparent fans to attend. So why don't you explain why Roosters fans would rather go to AFL games.

If roosters and Dogs win this week....

NRL Prelim finals could outdraw the AFL Prelim finals.

They'll at least be competitive with the flogball prelims.

I reckon roosters v souths 65k
Penrith v dogs 55k.

You never know. Could be interesting.

Roosters/Rabbits got 60k to a round 26 game, if they were to meet it would crack 70k easily.

I'd like to think so too, but I wouldn't count on it.

Media hype would undoubtedly help, but the media loves to jump on Swans bandwagon when they make Grand Finals and could take some of the attention away.
