Im going to Swans game ( big North Melbourne fan from Vic ) got pax 48,134 and that was on Tuesday,

Also going to Manly game on sat night pax 16,something..

That seems strange, as Victoria radio was stating that they only expect around 35K at the Swans game as recently as last night.

They put it down to it being played at ANZ.

What is so hard to understand about people supporting two clubs? How is that and indictment of anyone if they support two clubs in completely different sports, please someone answer this. This isn't f**king Tasmania...
I have no issue with people supporting multiple clubs and multiple sports.

but when roosters fans generally rate the roosters as there second or third favourite team/sport you have to question the relevance of the roosters in the competition. Especially when most other rugby league teams don't suffer the same sort of thing , except Melbourne which is understandable.

Transport plans for Saturday's semi final

NRL fans attending Saturday's semi final between the Sea Eagles and Bulldogs will be able to use their tickets to travel on Sydney trains to Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.

The service will extend as far as Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst and Dungog stations.

And, to make it even easier to attend the match, both clubs have announced special transport arrangements for fans.

Manly fans with pre-purchased tickets will be able to catch a dedicated bus from Manly Leagues Club straight to the ground on Saturday evening. Return services will commence straight after the match.

The Bulldogs are putting on a dedicated train service for their supporters. Ticket-holders can jump on the train departing Belmore at 5:08pm stopping at Campsie, Canterbury, Sydenham and Central. A paid shuttle service will run from Central Station to Moore Park.

As a %, I would say the Eastern suburbs have more people who didn't grow up in Sydney compared to other suburbs.
So they don't have that sense of tribalism other clubs supporters have

Swans played North Melb in a finals match once and got 19k at ANZ.

Predictions of 35k may be on the mark.

Swans will be lucky to get 50K. ANZ stadium is only preparing for 40-45K max. There are free tickets galore going around.

As for us outdrawing the AFL prelims, if the Dogs and Roosters win it will definitely happen. Hawthorn V Port will only draw 65K max. Roosters V Souths will outdraw it comfortably. Panthers V Dogs should get arround 55K.

It wouldn't be the first time we've outdrawn the AFL prelims either.

Going with the Mrs who is a dogs supporter, and her whole dogs family that I live with haha.
Pax is 23,153..

I heard Dogs fans have pretty much exhausted their sections, or close to...and are moving to bay 23-25 near the Manly area...just like Souths last week.

Not bad! 23K wouldn't include SCG trust members (I don't think), Hopefully a few of them show up!

Hopefully a solid day of sales tomorrow and some walk ups... Only worry is the top deck isn't open for sale yet.

Wonder what crowd the Roosters will get tomorrow? Won't be too good seeing as they don't have a large supporter base.

Seeing as its a big game maybe 19-20k.

A couple of years ago Souths played Raiders and got 35k. 31k of them were Souths supporters.
This was also wk2 of finals.

Today they were selling tickets on the website for Bulldog fans in the manly cat 1 and 2 sections.
The bays on the southern end is meant to be Manly GA however the Bulldogs army always sit in those bays and have bought up tickets there in massive Numbers! I hope Manly fans buy some tickets tomorrow because it looks like they will be outnumbered easily and embarrassingly.

ANZ always gets more then Allianz! Bulldogs V Manly got 37k in 2012 and that was round 1 of the finals... It's easier to get too and good location!
