You seem to mention this every week without ever looking at the stats. Up until the start if the origin series we were on track for the biggest ever season for crowds in history. Now, we are slightly under but with a strong finish can still break the record.
I don't think we will and one of the reasons is that traditional big drawing teams such as Brisbane, parra, dragons and tigers are having shithouse seasons.

True but Sth's and Bulldogs are arguably the biggest supported clubs in Sydney, Roosters are punching above their weight with some success. Storm are having a best ever year for crowds as well.

I guess the perfect storm for crowds would see a dry winter in Sydney with the top 8 made up of:
Souths
Bulldogs
Eels
Broncos
Wests
Warriors
St's
Storm

All clubs capable of drawing 17k+ avg

Of course if we are going to break the 20K avg set by the NRL in the next 4 years then we need the clubs doing well to be well over 20K and the clubs not doing so well to still be around 15K

Crowds over the last 4 years have pretty much been static
2009 16069
2010 16406
2011 16273
2012 16423
2013 15992 (so far)

Bunniesman, you don't go to games so it doesn't affect you at all.
I have been to games before and I will again in the future. Just because I'm currently not in a position to go is irrelevant. I have bigger concerns than just my own selfish needs. I care about the NRL and clubs and fans in general.

Crowd was pretty disappointing at Brookie. Beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon and we didn't even crack 12k. I was heading down to Brookie pub before the game and there seemed to be people in Manly colours everywhere. The pub was full of people in Manly gear so I thought signs were good for a decent crowd. Walked into the ground at about 2:15 and there were huge patches of green on the hill and it didn't get much better as the game drew closer. Whether this is part of the origin hangover or something else, I'm not sure. There have been some good crowds at Brookie this year and we all love a Sunday arvo game. Delayed 9 telecast should get more people out of the house but for some reason even with all the factors in our favour, the crowd was poor. Having said that, I only saw one person in Titans colours all day and that was at the pub (though surely he was on his way to the game).

To be fair, the huge patches of green on the main hill are now actually sanctioned walkways enforced by security.

It's the family hill at the north end which is normally more empty than Bunniesman after seeing George Burgess's nude photo...

Brookvale is a bitch to get to and home from if you are not local.

I reckon there will be sweet f**k all at the game tonight.

Roosters Monday night crowds this year
-V Parra 18,014
-V Manly 16,246

If souths aren't pushing 20k this code is in deep trouble. No rain, gun side, great rivals, opposition fans that travel.

Not sure if the above is true or a lie .... is your police work keeping you from attending?

And yet you come on here and make Derp posts about other teams fans and their non attendance -that's DISGUSTING
