Souths v Saints only getting 14,571 is actually disappointing.

If we don't get at least 20k on Friday I'd be disappointed... but I would've thought surely 1st v 15th would outdraw 6th v 16th.

Monday night sux.

It works to a degree at the SFS though.

I reckon Souths V Dragons played yesterday afternoon would have easily cracked 20k.

Today's shocking crowd at Penrith can solely be blamed on the club. Their promotion for this match was absolutely pathetic.

Yeah we are the worst at that.

15k should of been minimum given our form, weather, 6 v 7, Gower back truely pathetic.

I contacted Phil Moss about this a few times he doesn't seem to care. Gus' response on twitter would suggest the same.

Don't know how it can be fixed if they don't care.

If souths aren't pushing 20k this code is in deep trouble. No rain, gun side, great rivals, opposition fans that travel.

I was at ANZ tonight and let me tell you there was not many Dragon fans at the game. May have been 100 at the most.

Even taking that in to account the crowd was a little disappointing. I expected something like 17-18,000

Most Rabbitohs fans I think only go when they are playing against good opposition....Melbourne, Roosters and Canterbury they tend to come out in numbers, when they are playing them. The turnouts of Rabbitohs fans against teams not in the 8 has been poor.

Was a good crowd considering there were only 50 people in the away bay.

If you had swapped our game with Penrith's, you still would have gotten the same crowd at Penrith but 5k-10k more at ANZ.

One of the worst excuses to not attend is the 'away' team excuse in particular when the team is in the top 8 and are winning they should be there en masse. It doesn't matter who the other team is, it's whomever they should support should always be the main reason to show up.

I've seen family fun day adverts running on Foxsports all week for the game

What if you don't have foxtel? Those ads are NRL run and great but shouldn't be the only marketing we do. Plenty we can do locally and don't

Next home game is the 10 years since 03. We already could have Priddis, Sattler, Campbell etc popping up with stories from back then. Nope it will be the same old

We have 45k facebook, 70K Leagues club members, 8k junior players (not counting siblings and parents).

These are where we should hit not relying on NRL run ads on Foxtel. Aside from ads in the local paper on Friday's there is nothing.

Every Monday the woman asks me what day is the game on. We do stuff the other day. Friday is too late for the casual fan & Family there is nothing to promote the games. Excuses were made for form in the past no such thing now.

Any other club would of used the Gower angle to get bums on seats. I know personally it was good to see him out there again.

Another Rorters moron who doesn't know the difference between member and season ticketholder.

I didn't mention season ticket holder did I? I know the difference that why I said members and I know that your club claims to have an enermous fan base but still pulls shit crowds even when you're first.

Oh wait I forgot you have 25,000 overseas members

15000 is a fantastic crowd for a Monday against spoon contenders. Would have got 30k if we had the timeslot Gus's mates gave his team.
