On the Sth's crowd, out of interest was the massive increase due to:

1.Neutrals attending becasue it was at the SCG
2. More away fans travelling to the game because it was at the SCG
3. Sth's and Wests fans who don't normally go to games attending as it was at the SCG
4. It was on a sunny Sunday afternoon and was hyped up a bit due to venue and heirtage round?

The fluctuation in crowd figures for NRL games in Sydney is massive and I'm always intregued how one week they can draw 30,000 and the following week 9,000?

From a Wests Tigers perspective, Souths are our biggest rivals.

Home games v Souths since 2004:

19,402 (Leichhardt) 2004
22,877 (Leichhardt) 2005 (Sold Out)
18,440 (Leichhardt) 2006
20,232 (Leichhardt) 2007 (Sold Out)
19,122 (SCG) 2008
29,970 (SCG) 2009

I know plenty of old Balmain supporters who attend the 3 games a year at Leichhardt + the Souths match at the SCG.

I think he led the way in butt Plugger use during games. He didn't want any unexpected accidents on the field, needing to save it all for the boggers later on with Boogarasti. Classy lot those fumbleballers.

Decent crowd considering Sydney is in monsoon season.

My prediction for the Cronulla game: 126 and a golden retriever.
