lol its standing for 90 minutes, i stand for 6 hours a shift at work it isnt that difficult

The differnece being you get paid to stand there and I don't suppose you are packed in like sardines at your work? Plus I don't imagine you take your kids to work.

As I said Kograh is a joke and its about time the NRL got rid of grounds like it.

i love the suburban ground, places like leichhardt in particular in jogarah, a better gameday experience than sitting at f**king ANZ

I was at Kogarah as well and noticed the ground announcer asked the all the people on the hill to stand several times. The hardcore Dragons and Bulldogs sections were standing, but the others on the lower levels on the hill wouldn't budge.

I knew it wasn't going to be 19k - there were a few white bucket seats spare on the hill sides as well.

That hill looked awesome from the grandstand side.

Nice new corporare room at the ground too! Slippery Morris enjoyed it!

So do i but i get paid to, why would i pay for the privilege to do that? I don't mind sitting on a hill but having to stand up is sh*t and i would never take my partner or kids to the game.

Better game day experience? More like more uncomfortable. Grounds like ANZ at least guarantee you a seat.

Nine News reporting roosters game is definitely less than 10 000, linking it to some sort of backlash due to the off field dramas this week. Shame.

Is that right? Damn the media are full of it, wouldn't have anything to do with the Roosters struggling and Newcastle being from out of town now would it?

Why was there a full house a Kogarah and 43,500 at Suncorp last night, was that a reverse backlash?

Very generous crowd announced at the Roosters game
You could have fit the supporters on the eastern side into two bays

I agree. f**k channel 9! I saw an ad for aca about how the game is robbing it's fans through jersey sales. They mention nothing about the afl. I'm assuming they have similarly priced jerseys. Anyway this is not he forum to bash channel 9, though one should exit.

Suburban grounds have their place, they just need to be seated...you can have boutique stadiums that have the heart and comes with seating, its like having your cake and eating it too.

Surely it's time we got past the idea of people standing on hills to watch a game of footy. Games should be played at all seater stadiums, min 25k.

Why. I'm yet to hear one good reason for this. Quite clearly people will pay to stand on a hill.
