 Our biggest crowds are in the 30-36k bracket. You got 26k to your game against us..

Not this year. The biggest you have played in front of THIS YEAR is the 26k against the broncs, hence my original statement.

I see you are a tad slow on comprehension, so ill spell things out real simple and concise for you from now on..

Heres are start...SYDNEY CROWDS ARE sh*tE!

Meh. It's common sense. You'd think Australia was forced onto Queensland like England was forced onto Ireland the way some Queenslanders act.

BTW those aren't the official SOO ratings. They got revised up to over 2.3 million. I'm not sure how hat effects your stats though, Fraser.

crowd at Storm was just over 10k...poor schedualing from NRL with no AFL here today..if we had our stars and promoted it would have been bigger

wouldn't that be regarded as good scheduling?
poor from melbourne, nonetheless, but in a way understandable given it is origin week

without Origin stars promotion was poor for the game, with the scheduling i was meaning be better if Origin was either week eariler or later so we had full stars for game

SoO is built for Queensland. It's born out of the fact legends like Artie Beetson played in the sky blue for most of their careers, and is a consequence of the fact NSW creamed them on account of the residents rule for the entire 1970's.

Since the BRL got gutted it's the only tradition they've really got at the top tier.

I admire their passion, but the day SoO is squeezed out by a vibrant international and club scene will be a great day for rugby League.

Its good news that SOO in nsw has sold over 75,000 tickets

And 3 times the blue wigs this year, 3000+ of them

I know its not a sell out yet, but the stadium will look completely full no doubt. Thats important. Its close to full. Practically 90%

Thats acceptable. But I am slightly disappointed.

Anyway, well done nsw.

But I wont be entirely happy until its sold out - if ever.

_______

Now, as to the BRL, no one cares anymore. I am sure you will find that anyone who matters is happy with the new national comp.

"I admire their passion, but the day SoO is squeezed out by a vibrant international and club scene will be a great day for rugby League". I too long for this day....so very much, i would gladly give up Origin for it....i know, i know....I will miss origin when this happens, obviously, but the price weighed up is 3 games versus how many more? 10? 20? a vibrant test scene is a massive lure, and coupled with a great club comp thats completely national together is a prize that can be paid for by origin....tho I am sure origin will exist in some form, but not the current one's grandeur.

No....that grandeur will be transferred to test football, so do not be afraid. rest your weary hearts...

Yeah I was a bit disappointed with yesterday's crowd...was expecting around the 12,000 at least.

Had 4 friends who, thankfully at least, are Storm members, but were too lazy to get off their backsides to go to the game because of rain being forecast..and watched the game on fox. The new stadium will help in that respect.

1. You know what year i was referring to. You know every SOO game up here is sold out in minutes.

2. The fact it doesnt sell out in 1 day of release says enough. Hoping for some walk ups?

52.5k. Thats our capacity. we can do no more. And dont comeback with the "well why dont you build a giant white elephant like ours?" comment. I've heard it all before. Your stadium is sh*thouse, i've been to two GF's there. Lang Park is by far the superior ground.

The only problem is it's too small. (And the top deck seems to be unfinished).

And by the way tell them to get some profesionally made number stensils.

Who would have thought that the biggest crowd in rugby league this weekend would be in Barcelona?

Is that a Western suburb of Sydney or some mill town in Yorkshire? Surely our game cannot possibly be being succesful beyond Sydney and the M62 corridor?
