Cowboys looking to trade quarterback?

The Cowboys are checking out if their is any interest in quarterback Stephen McGee. The forth year quarterback has shown very little in the preseason. I would be surprised if any team would give up even a 7th round pick to get him.

Cowboys trade for Miami G/C?

Some speculation that the Cowboys will trade their 7th round draft pick to the Dolphins for OL Ryan Cook.

Cook is 6-6 and 325 pounds and has played centre and guard during his six years in the NFL.

Confirmed

Whoever picks up Dunbar will jizz errywhere.

The Cowboys will hope he will clear through and be able to put him on the Practise Squad.

I suspect they hope to put a few others like Bass, Coale, Hamilton, Leary and Szczerba on the PS also.

Cowboys cut QB Stephen McGee

McGee may have been a member of the Cowboys roster when first cuts were made yesterday, but today he is gone.

McGees spot on the roster is taken by tight end Colin Cochart, who was waived Friday by the Cincinnati Bengals. The 25-year-old Cochart (6-4, 254) played as a free agent rookie with the Begnals in 2011. He is out of South Dakota State. Played in 10 games (starting three), catching five passes for 44 yards and one touchdown for the Bengals.

Cutting McGee leaves the Cowboys with only two quarterbacks on their roster, Tony Romo and Kyle Orton.

Ratliff out and Witten Doubtfull for Giants

The Cowboys have ruled out NT Jay Ratliff and TE Jason Witten is doubtfull for tomorrows game.

Ratliff has a high ankle sprain and Witten has a lacerated spleen.

John Phillipes is the obvious choice to replace Witten shoyld he not play.

Wares 100th sack

DeMarcus Ware completed his 100th sack during the 2nd quarter of the giants game. It took him 113 games to reach the century mark. The second fastest ever, behind the great Reggie White who took 96.

While Lee and Carter are awesome, they've got a bit of competition ahead of them to make it into the pro bowl this season, but they'll get there one day.

I know some like to rubbish Spencer, but gee he is good against the run.

The way he capped the line when the Giants were camped in our end zone (first time round) was perfection. Go back and watch that stand and identify what Spencer does on the first two downs, its actually fantastic.
