Nope and he is inelligible for points from this Origin team as his team has the bye for the game he is missing due to Origin commitments

Yes that is the case. Has been the rules for quite a while. Otherwise a player can pick up 6 points in a week.

Because his team did not have the Bye the weekend before.

A player can gain points in Origin because they are excluded from the match before. This evens up the amount of games played by all rep and not rep players during the season.

Because the Storm and for that matter the Cowboys have the Bye the weekend before Origin players from that club would not have earnt points for a game that is not played as such any points earned in origin do not count

How the f**k did Shane Tronc get a point? Thurston or even Brenton Bowen should have gotten that 1.

Hunt played all over him as did Carroll.
But hey, dont let the truth get in front of your bias

LOL...bias....yet here you are arguing in favour of players you support in an award you claim has no cred...truth, lol...look up the meaning of truth, then look up opinion.

So a team that loses by 30 should have a player get one point?
Brisbane had more than 2 players who were better performers than Farrah.
The award has no cred sure, but that wont stop me debating the performances of the players.

In the semi v the Broncos in 2005, we beat Brisbane 34 - 6.

The man of the match for mine was Shane Webke.

So yes, it is possible for a team to get lapped and still have a player win Dally M points. In my opinion.

If Farah hadn't played last night, it'd have been 80 - 0.

What a ridiculous claim.

Players playing Origin earn points, no matter what.

Farah Still In Front

Farah earned two points for his effort in the Tigers' win over the Raiders, with his teammate John Morris taking out the top points for the game.

His effort has opened up more space between him and second-placed Cameron Smith, of the Storm, after the Storm had the bye this weekend.
