Farah, Thurston tied at top

WESTS Tigers hooker Robbie Farah and North Queensland Cowboys halfback are tied at the top of the Dally M rankings after Round 11 of the NRL. .

Farah turned in another three-point performance in the Tigers' gripping one point win over the Penrith Panthers on Sunday.

Thurston also earned three points in the Cowboys' win over the Bulldogs on Saturday night to keep up the pressure on Farah.

Coming into the game, Thurston was on 17 points after earning two points for his performance for Queensland in State of Origin I against NSW on Wednesday night.

Warriors captain Steve Price earned three Dally M points on Wednesday night to see him move into 10th place on the leaderboard.

NSW five-eighth Braith Anasta earned one point.

Newcastle fullback Kurt Gidley (third on 15 points) is out injured and missed his side's 71-6 caning at the hands of the Broncos.

The Titans' Scott Prince earned three points in his team's win against South Sydney to see him move into seventh place on the Dally M leaderboard.

they do the 3-2-1 as normal, then any team who had a bye in the lead up week gets their player's points taken off. This is because the players didn't get the chance to play in the lead up week, so they get the points for the game so they still get 24 games to post points, but if the players with the bye get their points from origin they get 25 games and an unfair advantage.

I agree with that whole heartedly. Soward got all the praise & hype for his effort, but unfortunatly Morris didn't get much mention at all. Easily the best on ground.

NORTH QUEENSLAND Cowboys halfback Johnathan Thurston has returned to the top of the Dally M rankings after another strong game at the weekend.

Thurston earned two Dally M points in the Cowboys' 26-24 victory over the Sharks on Saturday night to take him to outright leadership of the Dally M table with 22 points.

Second-placed Robbie Farah (20pts) has the chance to overtake him with a stand-out game against for the Tigers against the Eels tonight.

Cronulla's Greg Bird is in third spot on 17points after another barnstorming performance saw him earn the three points in the match against the Cowboys.

Just behind him is Titans captain Scott Prince, who earned the three points in his team's convincing win over the Raiders yesterday.

WESTS Tigers playmaker Robbie Farah has regained the top position on the Dally M leaderboard with his sterling performace against Newcastle yesterday.

Queensland and Cowboys star Johnathan Thurston, whith whom Farah has been having a leaderboard tussle all season, dropped back into second place after the Cowboys' massive loss to the Roosters.

Farah is now six points ahead of third-placed Greg Bird, who remains on 17 points ahead of the Sharks' game tonight against St George Illawarra.
