man please be quiet, for one your just pouring fuel on the fire with all of your posts, incase you havent noticed manly isnt really liked :) and your posts just seem to..... Well there farked. And it gives the idiots a chance to post crap.

p.s i still dont get how someone can go for and be passionate about 2 teams, but hey thats just me.... i know when manly merged i still followed the beagles, but if they went completely, i wouldnt follow another team.

As for orford, ive tried to defend him for awhile now, his form is good enough to be leading the dally m's, but he's still playing sh*thouse? he's been manly's best for alot of games over the past few years, and believe it or not, even when mona's was there!

If anyone wants to go back and watch any of manly's games, let me know, ive got everygame from the past 3 seasons on dvd :)
impressive I've just got the GF on DVD, not really watched it yet and most of the time it's easy I loathed the GF and round 5 in round 5 I was at OP in my colours Manly Jersey, Manly Hat, Storm Scarf, Storm Jacket and I had the flags of both of my teams but my sister hogged the Storm one.

IMO its a bit unfair that dally m points are awarded in SOO. only 30 blokes get the chance to earn them, instead of everyone.

All those guys missed out on the round before though?

It'd be unfair for them to not allow it. Not to mention how much harder the points would be to come by in an origin match.

I think it's unfair on the SOO players if anything, they miss their regular club game the weekend before so they can't earn them then, and then their only chance to earn points is by being in the top 3 out of 34 of the NRL's best players on the games biggest stage.

edit: Yeah, what Johhny said.

Jatz Storm fans are still sour on the Ox, don't understand why he's a great player and didn't even debut for the Storm, May 21st 2000 round 16 at Leighhaht against the Tigers the club the Ox debuted for is no longer around in the form it was back then.

He has played well this season. Give the bloke credit when its due.

For sure, he's had a very solid season and has been one of the better players but i never said or meant otherwise. My point was that the Dally M, IMO isn't the best barometer to measure who the best player in the game is given media bias and journo's with their own personal agendas. It's all subjective and all a matter of opinion. I don't just mean this year and i'm not just singling out Orford, i've always thought it.

And lotti, don't tell me what i'm thinking and feeling as a Storm fan because to put it bluntly you have no f**king idea.

Dally M's go pretty close to choosing the best player in the game.

Put it this way, if you finish in the top 3 players for the Dally M, you are more than just a solid first grader.

and if you win it and you're team has a good chance at the Premiership well say goodbye to that.

In your opinion. An opinion that isn't shared with i dare say the vast majority of league fans.

Yeah, you are right, that Cameron Smith, Jonathan Thurston and Andrew Johns were real crocks. How could the Dally M's get it so wrong. You will normally find that the best 3 players chosen are usually pretty right, all opinions aside.

Dally M's have next to no credability anyways.

I swear some of you so called 'Rugby League fans' have absolutely no idea.

Whether Matt Orford wins it this year or not is not the reason I am posting.

Look at some of the guys who have won it since its inception in 1968.

Andrew Johns 3 times
Mick Cronin 2 times
Peter Sterling 2 times
Johnathan Thurston 2 times
and some other winners include
Alan Langer
Brad Fittler
Waynes Pearce
Ricky Stuart
Graham Eadie and
Steve Rogers.

Any good players in that bunch????? as far as some of you are concerned NO

Maybe you guys should actually watch some Rugby League games
