Like I said, I wouldn't be upset about Uate getting it, I just see him as having "wow" moments and then a lot of "meh" moments.
I think he is an electrifying attacking player, but IMO he isn't an all-round winger...not saying he wont be, because he is still very young, but at the moment he still has a lot of improvement in his game.
He will get better, as he gets more confident. But he is not a defensive liability like he was last year. When Vuna and Uate are on the wings, Uate is the safe one. I wouldn't have dreamed that last year.
He is leading the try tally for wingers by 4, and is set to record the most linebreaks in a regular season for a winger since last century...and all in an absolute stinker of a team.
He scores a mountain of tries and linebreaks, but he also does a lot of tough work carting the ball up when our forwards shirk the job every week. That's why he's the leading metre-gainer for wingers.
There's been very little to cheer about as a Knights fan this year, but this bloke makes you want to watch every game.
If he was playing for a top 4 side he would have more than 30 tries for the year by the end of it.
