Da Killa! Uate!

Gordon probably gets second after breaking into the NSW squad and having a great season for Penrith.

Still rather have Vatuvei.

As a wuzzy fan of course you would, and we would rather have Aku.

There isn't a team that would say no to either though.

Aku is a confidence player - he wins this his confidence will go through the roof. As a Knight I hope he gets it, then watch out NRL in 2011. He wins this he will play Origin next year (if he is eligible by then).

Imagine what he'll be like if the Knights can put a decent team on the park during the time he's there. That's another thing about Uate...he's done it all in a poor team. He's not standing at the end of a brilliant backline like some wingers do. He's does it all himself.

The tries Aku has scored, not many of them have been put on a platter for him, he's scored tries from plucking kicks out of midair, he's scored length of the field tries, he's scored tries through brilliant footwork and he's also scored tries through sheer power and strength.
Its good to see him finally justifying the club's investment in him. Everyone knew he was a physical specimen, but finally seeing him use it on the field has helped me forget about the rest of our pathetic team and incompetent coach.
Hopefully he's allowed to play origin next year because he's one bloke who can definately bring some flair into the NSW team

Uate for sure. But if Manu werent injured half the season I think he wouldve been better.

Brett Morris. May have been sh*t in Origin, but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure Origin games don't count toward the Dally Ms.

I've have Uate over Vatuvai and Morris.

So I guess yeah he would be winger of the year then.

Geez we have some ordinary wingers at the moment if a young guy with pace and balls can get winger of the year.

I would happily take either of them, but if I had to pick Uate would just edge him out. Both would be great though and while I wouldn't trade Michael Gordon for either of them I would move him to centre to fit them both in. :D

Any of Morris, Gordon, Uate and Vatuvei.

I'll plump for Manu - the Warriors are something like 9-4 with him and 1-5 without him this season. Just shows the influence he has. I can also seldom think of a game since that shocker at Parramatta (in 2007) where he's played poorly.

absolute rubbish statement. Uate would be easily as deserving as any other winger that has ever won the award if he wins it. he has been an absolute sensation from Round 1 right through to Round 21.

The bloke has bucketloads of pace, great footwork, decent hands and is 100kg of solid muscle.
I mean look at the wingers who've won the award in the past
last year Taniela Tuiaki, excellent player but I'd argue Uate has had just as good a season this year as the Tank did last year, 2008, Colin Best won the award (says it all). In 2006 Brian Carney won the award playing for the knights, he scored 16 tries in 26 games playing outside Johns and Matt Gidley, Uate has scored 20 triesd in 19 games playing outside the likes of Ben Rogers, Scott Dureau and Wes Naiqama
