Danny Buderus's shorts are wet

From all the pissing the nein commentary team did in his pocket last night. Fair dinkum, you would dead set think he was the messiah returned the way Rabs, sterlo and co carried on about him all night.

Give the agenda a rest boys, and just call the bloody game.

Situation normal. He only has to turn up to get praised for being "outstanding".

LOL

Hmmm that situation reminds me of another hooker, who could it be....

well seeing that gidley did exactly the same thing when he came on as hooker
and seeing that, playing like that is not normal for either player
you would have to surmise that they were coached to play that way

i felt buderus played more like he usually does, than he did in Game I or II

and he made good covering tackles
like on smith when he made the line break.
and seemed certain to score the try.

The only way Farah will have his spot next year is either if a) Bedsy retires from rep footy, or b) Bedsy's injured.

Farah is a quality player, no doubt, and his time will come, but it won't be when Danny is still eligible to play Origin.

It was like watching wrestling when the commentators try to "put over" the wrestler.

What a relief to us QLDers then:lol:

In this entire Origin series, how many times did Buderus:

- Make a clean break from dummy half
- Kick from dummy half without the ball going out on the full
- Consistently make easy metres up the middle
- Be directly involved in a try
- Score a try

Buderus only has to turn up to be guaranteed a rating of 8.5 out of 10.

If you think Farah is a better player than Buderus, you are deadset delusional

Farah is a good player, but hardly in the league of Buderus

He is, but thats not the crux of the matter. I'm not discussing Farah, I'm discussing Buderus.

Care to answer any of my questions? Also, out of curiosity how many times has Kurt Gidley played hooker for Newcastle?

If Farah was going to get a run, it would have been on the bench to "relieve" Buderus at various stages of the game. They may do that next year. I personally thought Gidley was a waste of a bench spot to be honest. He hasn't ever played hooker as such for the Knights, he's more so played a role of "rover", where he pretty much bobs up anywhere. The only thing that could have happened to him was suffering another injury which thank God didn't happen.

So, are you going to answer the questions I asked. Just so you can't miss them, here they are again:

- Consistently make easy metres up the middle
- Be directly involved in a try

You're right he isn't,but he's a different type of player.
And you need that type of hooker to be potent in your attack.

The sheer fact that he only lifts when the team is leading speaks volumes as a player and as a captain.
