I would say that the first page League followers read on Sunday is the Danny Weidler column in the Sun Herald, and Rothfield and Wilson column in the Tele.
Feedback is what makes them valuable employees.

If I ever bother reading the Sunday rags, my eyes are looking for reports and stories, not fabricated column BS from three of the biggest hacks in journalism.

Gower leavin, .

He got Gower leaving right but that had been on the cards for years.

He reported that he was seeking an immediate mid season release to play for Italy in the yawnion WC.

So he was pretty wrong.

I can seriously only remember him coming out with two stories that were original and i hadnt heard it before it came out of hes mouth. And they were....

1.Hayne to Souths-Wrong.

2.Matt Bowen unhappy at Cowboys likely to leave-Wrong (Signed a 3 year deal literally weeks after he broke that story).

Cant wait to read what supportive dribble he dreams up this week in connection with the wee willie incident.

With any luck, there might be a quote from Mundine "my people have been slashing out in the open for thousands of years"

in the back page talking up the SBW > union angle again.

says english RU clubs will offer loads more than the ABs, but he wants to play for the ABs.

says the ABs are interested.

apparently williams was telling hiw kiwi team mates this week about wanting to play union.

ive got lots of time for SBW but lately hes getting on the nose.

he goes to Chocs manager and pretty much straight away hes talking of leaving the sport.

all this talk is ruining his image even if he does stay loyal to the dogs.

Scared are you?

He is a New Zealander, their national sport is RU. Many grow up wishing to play for the ABs. He can realise that dream and one can't blame him for having that option open to him.

The AB's are not interested, they have said that they will not want to "bid" for a contract with him. But they said that if SBW was keen, they would talk with him.

SBW has said he wants to play origin quite badly.

did he get that from being a kiwi as well?

They are obviously interested... its just a front. The AB's are acting like school girl who has a massive crush on someone but pretends they arn't interested.

It's all just speculation, talking up SBWs asking price for when his current contract comes up.

ESL clubs are after him, rugby teams are after him, easts are after him, manly are after him, you can expect any combination of these over the next few years.

Good luck to him, hope he makes a motza.
