Hope to christ it was House who dobbed him in. They'd've arrested him as well if they had anything on him, right?

Surely they wouldn't announce they'll be using him as a witness if they were trying to get him charged as well. That just reeks of an opportunity to let the House skip town if he's implicated in any way, shape or form.

Houston wouldn't be named as a witness to crime if he was considered a POI so he'd be fine

House is in a very difficult position right now regardless of innocence. He and Wicksy are pretty tight as mates I believe. This will be privately rocking House to his core. He will be very very pissed at Danny. Rightfully so. I am glad the club are supporting Chris through this as he is clearly a future candidate for club captain. Wicksy being a cult legend at this club has let a great many people down. The kids idolise the big fella and I find it disturbing he was doing anti drug campaigning at schools throughout this ordeal.

It worries me that the names (if there are any) may not be known until the case goes to court, which is sometime in Feb IIRC.

Too close to the season... our preparation would be screwed.

You here rumours all the time about drugs and players, and some of the players ive herd rumours about have been blokes like Simmo, or as for the Raiders, Jason Croker/Alan Tongue type people, guys who appear to be well above that type of thing... ive learnt not to rule anyone out when it comes to this sort of thing.

This is bad news for the knights, if the wrong people are implicated, it could be the end of the knights in the current form. As Roopy has said, they are all but bankrupt already, this type of thing could tip them over the edge.

The NRL has the power to dock competition points should a club bring the game into disrepute.

The NRL and the Knights have both said that we go beyond the level set by the NRL in terms of drug testing, so how would "the club" bring the game into disrepute..... Before this allegation we were the poster club fo anti-drugs.

every club has their druggos, some hide it better than others, look at my club the roosters, most are drunken geniuss, yet it is the same few getting caught, dumbe luck or just idots??

Im sure your club has drunks also, Newcastle will move on pretty swiftly if handled swiftly and competantly, if yhey let it drag on and more comes out( ala roosters) it will get a hell of alot worse.
