Since returning to Red Hill two seasons ago following a stint with Canberra, the former bull-rider from Rockhampton has made every post a winner. A new determination to prove himself at the top level has meant a gruelling off-season training regime and he starts Season 2005 fitter than ever. Mapp is one of the ‘labourers’ in the Broncos pack and is again prepared to do the dirty work in season 2005 after making 20 top grade appearances last season.

FACT: Mapp is one of only two Broncos players who were born in New South Wales (in Albury). The other is Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (born in Tweed Heads)

I hope those signing days don’t creep back into the Club.

Bryson Goodwin and Nene McDonald is not the best start to John Morris’s recruiting.

I know we are desperate to plug some holes this season but he needs to find better quality than that if we are to contend for a top 4 spot in the near future.

They are fine as cheap backups. Morris did well with what little cash we have and what's available. We need forwards with the xerri money
