TBF to the Broncos they do have a squeaky clean reputation. Despite being thoroughly investigated for breaching the cap, Andrew Gee's retirement occurred just prior to him being compelled to testify. It was an unfortunate coincidence.

And despite an inquest where details of subverting the cap with payments from the thoroughbreds they managed to avoid punishment for that. It certainly helps being owned by the biggest media organisation in the country to control any issues and ensure the players noses are clean, and that is definitely not a sneaky reference to Lockyer or big Del.

Now we and by we i mean three of us could all gather in a toilet cubicle and throw accusations at this poor club but if there is a club who can rise above that adversity its the poor Broncos.

Here is what you fail to see.

He was arrested in a foreign country.

This was world wide. How that is not worse for the brand.

Pearce, Carney, Monaghan....

Need better cover ups and laywers and idiots who think they are vitcims....................

Here is what you fail to either see or give proper acknowledgement to, the NRL has a specific unit to investigate incidents like this. That unit has conducted a lengthy investigation which included full access to the relevant evidence including interviewing Fifita and witnesses. After that investigation they concluded that a breach could not be proven. But, why don't we run with what a lot of ill informed tin foil hat knobs on the internet believe occurred instead shall we?

As mentioned above. Pearce, Napa and Monaghan didn’t do a crime but it was the publicity... As the case here.

We don’t know if a crime was committed we do you the arrest was splashed all over the media

No, with respect, you are wrong. In each of the other cases there was video evidence proving the player engaging in conduct that the governing body felt brought the game into disrepute that is the difference, that is what was missing here.

The hypocritical part here is that many of these prior incidents were punished severely because of the media attention but the Broncos are owned by a media corp. So while they are happy to report extensively on rugby league atrocities at other clubs the same level of hysteria is missing for Broncos players. I appreciate that Broncos fans have their heads firmly placed in a particular spot, to not see the double standard with this.

Did they conclude it was an 'obvious' shakedown?

So your "Integrity Unit" will ban players for bad photos, but being arrested overseas, no problem, no blight on the game.

The best cover up people in the business next to Victorians.

You lap it up.

Are you suggesting his own lawyer accused him of assault when it wasn’t true? Lol. Surely if he was totally innocent you’d want your lawyer saying he never touched him. Given he was on the back of a bike I’m pretty sure there were eye witnesses!

Obscure conspiracy theory trumps , "NRL player I like acted like drunk merkin" apparently.

No-one in the Fifita camp has denied it. There were witnesses.

But nah, foreigners cooked up a scheme to defraud poor innocent David & he is too much of a gentleman to even speak against it.

EVEN when he is safely out of the country he is TOO AFRAID to warn other visitors about the scam apparently. He just wants to suffer in silence. Sad.

apparently having consensual sex , along with calling yourself big Papi (note no complaint from the women in vid ) is worse than Fifita incident.
I think the integrity unit should investigate all these players with children , and fine them for having sex

Intimated?

I had no idea there were housing commission units on Farm St, the fact you use that in an attempt to denigrate some speaks volumes.

Just my opinion on Brisbane. I had no idea you bruised so easily.

I don’t think you could bruise a pawpaw.

FTR I am more than happy David gets to play.

I just find the hypocrisy breathtaking.

None of these players should be sanctioned.

The NRL is not above the law, just think they are when it suits them.

The integrity unit is a bad joke.

‘and that is the problem the NRL decided to be judge jury and executioner on matters that are NOT illegal or were not punished by the law .
once they decided on punishing players for Innocuous maters , Legal acts , preempting court rulings with no fault policy they had no option but to sanction Fifita.
