Jesus christ the difference between Grant talking and Gallop talking

ummmmm ahhhhhh tv deal should be good
Chalk and cheese hey??? Grant was very impressive, Bulldog and the other News lackey's had a whine at him but he fobbed them off quite easily. Unlike Ummmm and Aaaaaaahhh Dave.

Fox Sports News basically did a Kanye West saying that David Gallop was the greatest sports administrator of all time.

Quite embarrassing really.

What's a bet we see a split in how the media will report this.

9 and Fox on Gallop's side

everyone else on Grant's side.

ROFLMAO.

I want to know if News Limited knew he'd get turfed when they finally stopped stuffing around on the Independent commission. Part of me feels like they knew. The other part of me hopes its just a sign they're losing their mojo.

As far as Patsy's go, I feel he did as good a job as someone with a clearly massive conflict of interest between the competition and our media overlords could have. His reign wasn't disastrous, and it was generally stable. We don't have half the competition on the verge of folding like we did in 2001, which is a blessing.

But frankly, his time was up. We've been stuck in neutral when we should have been going at full throttle for the past five years.

Thanks Gallop, you made a decent fist of a pretty situation but your time was up half a decade ago. Don't let the door hit you on the way out mate!

Generic?
I'd call it diplomatic myself.
The press & public are trying everything to find out who did what to who. Why?
Why turn it into a soap opera? Does it matter in the end?

I'm listening to MG at the moment, he too is trying to make a soapie out of this.
It's a business decision between businessmen.
And that's how both have handled it in with the media thus far.
If that tone changes from either of them, it will be one of the biggest mistakes for the game's future.

I daresay there will be 1 or 2 other big names leave by Grand Final day or straight after.
The future shall be interesting.

You'd be pissed off too if your cash cow started removing your plants...

Thank you. Someone with some sense.
