Like him or not Warner has taken the blame for something the WHOLE team were doing.

Bancroft is a plodder

Smith and Bancroft both served their bans. It happened years ago and its well and truly over. David Warner is the only one keeping this story alive.

The fact that he won't cop it sweet and wants to get the blame more evenly shared is irking plenty of people. It was years ago now and the only reason we can't move on is because of him. When he retires it won't stop, the tell-all book probably already has its first draft.

Lets just hope he stays on good terms in the Whatsapp group.

When everyone involved has retired we will learn the full story. I’d imagine someone will write a book and drop some names. I don’t think it will be one of the three banned, if it’s a wider plot then it will likely be someone involved who got off scot free.

The team for that match was Bancroft, Warner, Uzzy, Smith, Marsh, Marsh, Paine, Starc, Cummins, Lyon & Haze - I would imagine that either Cummins or Marsh will be the last man standing (unless Bancroft can work his way back into the side), with the pair having 5 years max in them.

I think Warner will, it will be sooner than expected and as with most autobiographies will be very favourable to him.

Definitely possible, I don’t think it’ll be known until after next years ashes - I think we lose around 4 of the current team after that series (Smith, Starc, Haze, Khawaja and Lyon will all be close to calling Stumps)

But when will he have time to pen his tell all autobiography "Look at Me! Desperately Remaining Relevant: The Little Davey Warner Story" ?

The door has been firmly shut on a sneaky possible international return for David Warner after the retired opener said he’d be available for next year’s Champions Trophy “ if selected”.

But selection chief George Bailey said Warner was the only player they had put a “line through” despite leaving out spinner Ashton Agar and 36-year-old keeper Matthew Wade from the squads for September’s tour of the UK having been members of the unsuccessful squad at the T20 World Cup

“Our understanding is that Davis is retired and should be commended on what was an incredible career across all three formats,” Bailey said.

“Certainly our planning is he won’t be there in Pakistan”.

Thank f**k for that.

He’s done his last Oled leap. My personal favourite was the one in Melbourne where he cramped up and looked like a total f**k knuckle.
