Warner will dump on them all and paint himself as the innocent scapegoat in some one sided tell all book and series of soft as interviews as soon as there are no ramifications for him, like non-selection.
Or he might tell the truth and recover a few of the millions taking the blame cost him.
Good on him

Every side in the world ball tampers. The ban was ridiculous and hopefully Smith, Warner and Bancroft sue Cricket Australia one day

Sure, but can't recall anyone else taking an abrasive material onto the field and doing it.

They took it to a new level, and I have no issue with the ban.

Just because other sides do it doesn't mean we get a free pass to cheat. We have our own standards.

You could argue the length of bans were harsh. However the leadership bans were not. If anything they were too soft on Steve Smith. Being a sheep shouldn't grant you a softer punishment.

That is it.

Forever sides have been throwing the ball back to the keeper or bowler on the bounce

Or using chewing gum to make one side smoother but to take something on the field just for that purpose is different

He actually started his ODI career off slow. Took a while to get his game flowing in the 50 overs.

By end of 2014 he had played 50 ODIs for 2 100s and averaged 31.

Since start of 2015 he played 111 ODIs for 20 100s and averaged 52.

Not many openers would average 50+ in ODIs since 2015 outside of Rohit Sharma possibly.

I remember his first test ton in Hobart.. That was a special innings in a losing game against NZ.

Then saw him in an ODI against India at the SCG later that Summer. Scored 60 odd. From memory the highest score from any batsman on that day. And the other memory was nobody on the ground that day was hitting it harder. He was a literal brute with the bat when he was on.
