Totally agree on point 1.

I don't mind so much if Friend doesn't run all that much out of dummy half. I'd love him to play a Cameron Smith type game.

On point 3, if it's on, it's on. I don't think it was on when they went to Manu, but it was on when they went to Tupou. If Tupou hadn't of overrun the pass, it would have been a masterplay.

I'd love for McClennan to come at me, I'll take him on and take him out for the benefit of the Warriors.

And also I don't think it's too much issue that Friend doen't run from dummy half much, when Brown is on the field we get more than enough effective dummy half running.

Friend service is improved tremendously since Round 1 and his looking more gelled despite the loss.
He will run when he needs to but his strengths come down to his quick service and defensive horse like quality workload week in week out, I predict he will run more when we have our top pack back in place (Not taking a dig at the great work from Lousi and Ben however) with the our Fab 4 back on deck i can see Friend on another level, until then he is doing enough to cement that No.9

Its pretty obvious that Bluey is still working on this team. There were many optimistic views that a new coach was going to get instant results. Those views were simply that: totally over optimistic.

I was disappointed that Ivan left when he did, as this could have been the year. It won't be because Bluey has a lot to learn.

Those first play options down the blind.........look great when they come off, but embarrasing when they don't.

Wroppo.........was a shocker. He looked slow, unable to read the play, out of his depth. Centres could be our downfall this year.

Bulldogs looked good. Very good. They have a monster pack.

I have an uncomfortable feeling about our bench every week.

I think the poor starts can largely be fixed just by playing conservatively for the first ten, ie hold the f**kin ball and get to your kick. Once we get some possession and work our way into games we're fine.

Doing moves like this on the first tackle shows a total disrespect for the opposition. In a way, its good the doggies spanked us - just like the Broncos in the finals - hopefully knock some sense into the team.
