I'm guessing he laughed because it involved 300 vouchers to a chinese restaurant. It's a storm in a tea cup IMHO. If 3P gave out vouchers for happy meals at Nth Parra Maccas there wouldn't have been a whisper of complaint.

I'm not pro Fitzy in this. I think he's a tool and should be paid out and replaced by a competent CEO sourced in a public and transparent manner ASAP.

Yeah, I didnt see Fitzy laugh but wasn't paying too much attention to him when people were asking questions - but when he was responding he didnt seem too fazed.

The voucher "scandle" had no impact on the results and only gives the Fitzy witch hunt momentum. If the 3P cowboys think that dragging the club through the mud once again is good for us then that'll do me. It will only end up in court with Fitzy defending his rights to a payout plus accrued entitlements.

and if it gets to that I wouldn't be surprised to see a defamation suit added in.

If they are that desperate to get rid of him early just honour the contract.

Last I checked, Nth Parra Maccas didn't run their business on Leagues Club premises

So ? I thought the complaint was that the Act states that if you offer one thing to a member then it must be available to all members ?

That was one complaint, which would also not be an issue if Nth Parra Maccas offered it as they are not associated with the LC

Two issues for mine which were never really addressed.

1. Were any club resources used?
2. Where did the mailing list come from?

if 3P wanna kick his butt over it then investigate and do it in f'n private!!! - clearly some numbnut(s) within 3P have a massive personal vendetta to sort out with fitzy and unfortunately they don't care if they drag the club through the mud to come out on top

if that happens i do not see the point. just more negative stories

i agree. i don't see the point in slinging more sh*t at our club. surely 3p can see it would be better to deal with this in-house.

just out of curiousity, from a legal point of view, does anyone know what (if any) information the telegraph are actually allowed to publish. if the new board find df has breached something then fair enough, deal with it, but given the personal confidential nature of contracts - is any of it actualy allowed to be aired in public without the consent of df?

could someone with a deeper legal background than most of us on here (and not any old jackass with their own unfounded opinion) shed some light? i might ask a couple of legal eagle friends what they think.
