Shaq Barrett & Bennie Fowler also played great, Barrett in particular was putting heat on the QB all the time & was good in run D.

Game Two:
- Defence is LOADED
- Hillman looking great. 1-2 bunch with CJ is going to be awesome
- OL continues improvement although no Watt/Wilfork
- Not worried about Manning was hurt by two drops and two holding calls
- Nice TD from Oz, but looked average otherwise
- Siemiam is probably going to make the squad

Siemian looked pretty good I thought. TD. Was a superb pass. Manning's arm looked stronger than last season. He actually overthrew someone. lol.

Shane Ray coming along nicely. Fowler over Caldwell IMO. Broncos are sleepers this year IMO. No one is talking about them being contenders this year. Steelers took a big step back with Pouncey gone and Packers with Nelson gone.

Miami are the other sleeper IMO.

If the Colts can get their OL together I am worried they may be hard to stop. I would lock them in to going 6-0 in the South. Pats will be there, but have to cover some losses. Hopefully Miami and Buffalo can give them a loss each. Chargers could be another sleeper but everyone thought that last year.

Kilgo looks to be a great pickup for Denver, but with Austin now on DL, NT depth is a worry.

Colts are clear favourites but not unbeatable. Luck will have a massive year and Gore could give just that little bit extra.

I like our D more than the Colts but I'm biased to a fault.

- Defence looked great again, lots of good depth, Shaq Barrett stood out again, Kilgo also had a strong game.

- Hillman terrific again, Juwan Thompson looked good but Ball was awful.

- O-line was impressive this week hope they can keep it up, the 3 rookies looking good so far.

- Manning was average however drops didn't help.

- Oz looked good again, made a great throw for the TD, made a big mistake on the interception & has to learn from it.

- Siemian had a second strong performance, Dysert is a goner, the question is now do they think they can get Siemian on to the practice squad or will they avoid the risk of losing him & carry 3 QB's?

- Sylvester Williams had his best game in a while, getting a sack with a nasty spin move for a big man.

I think the Broncos might trade ball to keep Siemian on the roster. That's what I would do.

Big upgrade for the Broncos in a position of need. Bronco quietly looking good IMO. Very strong in all areas with the O line now upgraded.

I see them picking up better line depth on both sides of the ball especially on offence but I just went with guys on the team at the moment

& Montee Ball to be traded or cut, Bibbs has been better RB & he plays special teams

In 2014, when Jack Del Rio was the defensive boss, the Denver Broncos were one of the least-blitzing teams in the NFL, ranking 26th with a 15.6 blitz percentage.

This year, Del Rio is now the head coach of the Oakland Raiders, replaced in Denver by Phillips. The Broncos now rank 8th in blitzing, bringing more than four pass rushers (the definition of a blitz) on 25.0 percent of the defensive snaps.

Crazy game! Manning's INT are piling on and one would have to think the win is all that kept the team from having serious questions about benching him. That aside, they are asking too much of him as Kubiak said so after the game. The run game got going today (Browns are 31st ranked rush defence) and they are committed to running so why did they spend most of the game calling pass plays on 3rd + 2 and 2nd + 5. Only on that final game winning drive did they seem to learn.

Looking to the Packers the OL needs to find a way to like that against better opposition and Manning desperately needs a 3rd and 4th target. Thomas and Sanders were targeted on 28 of 48 pass plays. The coaches today finally realized the TE's are a black hole (although Manning hit Daniels on a few boot plays) but someone has to step up and give Manning someone else to throw to or he will continue to struggle. Fowler has shown he has Manning's confidence but he barely played today. Latimer and Norwood both ran the wrong route on separate 3rd downs.

Can't think of any other TE options out there except Vernon Davis who is probably too injury prone to be worth the $. They are terrible in the red zone. If they could just convert then they would have a few blowout wins by now and Manning's numbers suddenly would look decent.

Goes without saying that DT needs to stop leading the NFL in drops. He catches that one with 90 secs or so to go and the game is basically over barring a major mistake.

Oh yeah, the defence is amazing! You lose Ware and Ray and Shaq Barrett dominates!

As Manning is showing even the greatest of all time reach a point in the career when it starts going down hill.

Thing is, his skill set isn't that different from Brady. Brady is just benefiting from an offence to suit his skills and has Gronk and Edelmen seemingly always getting each other open and they can run on anyone.

Half way through last year Manning lost his Gronk (Julius Thomas) and Edelmen (Welker) and hasn't recovered since. Now all he does is force it to DT and ES with mixed success.

I see why the Broncos have changed their system, but one has to wonder the Broncos shouldn't just go back to no huddle at Manning's pace as he finally has a defence that is championship calibre.
