Can’t just make money appear from nowhere.

Of course the fans will complain. They’re soft whingey merkins. How dare they renovate the stadium.

This time around I think they take more games on the road and play out of the new SFS.
That's why I said I get it.

They need to be smarter about it then. 1 full season away is enough in my opinion to get upgrades done if only extending stands.

Hypothetically Finish up August 2023 and build for 19 mths returning March 2025.

Well Of course . But arent they also SHARKS FANS. If they are not in position to use those seats wouldnt it be a great thing (at no cost to themselves ) to allow them to be onsold for benefit of the club ? No problem if its last minute pull out , but jeez surely a hard core fan would like to see a full house and the club getting corresponding money.?...as well as a fellow sharks fan getting chance to see the game ?
I’ve never watched a game from ET stand as I usually have 10 family with me but nowadays some can’t make 6pm Friday or Thursday games and I will roll up by myself. I’d love to be able to occasionally sit up there.

Yeap, and they could potentially piece meal the works too. Depending on what they end up doing. I know there are plans out there but they could very likely change based on how much we get, or dont get.

Works might not start for a while anyway.

If the Sharks are killing it on the field which we could very well be by then under Fitzy then even the fair weather fans will get out to some games. Play 3 or 4 at Kogarah, 3 or 4 at Allianz and 3 or 4 on the road. To know you're going back to a refurbed stadium and brand new leagues club. Hard to complain about that.

I don't think your idea is flawed, it's not a bad idea but to put a time restriction when a member needs to commit I think is too far.

Absolutely have the ability for members to sell their seats, is that still thing ? I know I've done it before. It used to be. Then that money is used for next years membership. Pretty sneaky how they do it lol.

With limited seats its probably worth pushing it more so they can maximise beer sales etc.

That's just it .. not every season ticket holder is necessarily committing to attend every game. I've always seen it as a contribution to the to the club and if I choose to only go to 7 or 8 games so be it. Do they still have the seat buy-back thing happening?
Don't think so. I never did it as I wouldn't want away fans sitting in my seats amongst other Season seat holders!
