disgusting eels fan behaviour to child

was listening on the radio last night it was either 702 or 873 and a woman sent a message/email in to the commentators and told her story of last nights game.

She was upset because she took her 8 year old son to the game whilst he was wearing a storm jersey and she was forced to take him home half time because the eels fans around him shouted and swore at him because he had the jersey on and were calling him a cheat and shouted obscenities throughout the game. the young boy was taken home crying his eyes out.

i was absolutely heartbroken for the kid and i'm disgusted by the attitude of fans of this sort. filthy.

It was raining all day and had been raining heavily all week.

7k was a good number considering the conditions.

I don't believe for one second there'd be a group of people ganging up on a child in that manner. One or two tossers maybe may have made a few harsh comments and that's unforgiveable.

But there's no way a whole group of people would spend an entire half taunting a child like that without it being reported within seconds, or that group being reprimanded by fellow fans within seconds. No fan of any club would allow that and you Storm fans would be the same i'm sure.

LOL right on cue and so predictable. As soon as it doesn't suit your argument or agenda you question the validity of the claims. If true it's an absolute disgrace and weak as piss, i see no reason why someone would make up the claim from out of thin air but understand why Parra fans wouldn't like to admit an element of scum like that is part of their supporter base. Maybe we need a report in the Tele to confirm it's truth ED?
