After defeating Mickie James in a non-title match on RAW, Lita "dropped a bombshell" by announcing that she will retire following her Women's Championship match against James this Sunday at Survivor Series. Her speech pretty much confirmed the rumors of her leaving leaving the promotion by November. Her WWE contract is set to expire on December 1st.

Jillian Hall posted some interesting comments on her MySpace page earlier tonight. She said that while she loves SmackDown, she'd much rather be competing in the Women's Division on RAW. As a matter of fact, she's asked WWE brass to transfer her over to RAW a few times, but its been a no-go thus far.

The Calgary Sun has posted yet another article on Maria, the fourth this month. In the article, she says that's she hardly the dumb character she plays on television. She also talks about how she conducts herself backstage. Maria said, "You walk on eggshells backstage. It's a mindset of being respectful to everybody and shaking everybody's hand, no matter how you feel about them. It's a business where you have to pay your dues, and in that sense, I really love it."
Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus started filming today for her a reality show on CBS. She will be working as a police officer in Muncie, IN for one month. There is no word yet on when the show will be airing. Also, she may be appearing alongside actor Erik Estrada because he's currently in Muncie as well.

2006 Diva Search contestants Maryse Ouellet and Milena Roucka are starting to appear on Ohio Valley Wrestling shows. When they do appear, it's in a non-wrestling capacity of course. They've been training there since September.

WWE Diva and former Playboy cover girl, Candice Michelle suffered what WWE.com is calling a “serious nose injury” during the diva battle royal during Raw last night.

The injury happened when Victoria was on the outside of the ring on the apron, Candice, reached over the ropes to grab her and Victoria kicked her in the face. It was apparent pretty much immediately that she was hurt as she grabbed her nose right away.

According to WWE.com’s story, Candice, will see a specialist tomorrow to determine the severity of the injury and whether or not surgery will be required.

WWE.com is reporting that Smackdown diva, Michelle McCool was hospitalized over the Thanksgiving holiday and remains in the hospital for “an enlarged kidney and an electrolyte imbalance”. Apparently McCool went to the hospital because of general sickness and acute back pain a move that may have saved her life.

The hospital ran several tests including an ultrasound to discover her illness and according to WWE’s doctor, Dr. Ferdinand Rios, if the condition had been left un diagnosed she could have had heart or kidney failure.

In the article their doctor said “Her condition was complicated by an electrolyte imbalance; sometimes those cannot be corrected immediately, and due to lack of sodium [in her body] she needed a lot of intravenous fluids. Michelle most likely suffered a fractured sternum from one of her matches where she may have been kicked in the chest. She’s getting better and is getting stronger, and at this time is free from infection, When I spoke to her she was in good spirits.”

Relationships between WWE wrestlers and Divas are at an all-time high according to PWTorch.com, with one source saying some move from partner to partner "like it's high school now; week to week it's different."

Maria, for instance, was reportedly involved with Carlito before moving onto a relationship with CM Punk. And Torrie Wilson, who recently separated from husband Billy Kidman, has already begun dating one of the Spirit Squad members.

One longtime WWE talent actually believes that the backstage atmosphere in WWE could have played a part in Lita's disinterest in continuing with the company.

Says the source, "It's a men's club, even with Steph around. The men are all knights in shining armour and the women are all seen as wh*res."

This is probably moot point now because she looks to be in line for a push, but a few weeks ago, Victoria asked for some time off because she was exhausted from the travel, and the belief among her colleagues was that her push went down after that. One veteran talent said, "They say it's okay to ask for time off if you need it, but they look down on you for it and it costs you."

Regarding the news on the 10 to 15 bikini models WWE told John Laurinaitis to sign (well, actually Vince McMahon was the one who issued the directive), in addition to the requirement of being between the ages of 18 and 28, and being "Super hot", they also must have a great attitude and a "big personality." The reason for all these future hirings could be due to some sort of TV project that is being kept under wraps, but that notion appears to be far fetched. More than likely, they just want some more hot women hanging around. The hopeful plan is to spread them over all three WWE brands.

I'm not 100% certain on the legitimacy of the page, but the writings on the page seem to indicate that myspace.com/joyjoygiovanni is indeed the real MySpace page of former WWE Diva Joy Giovanni. Back in October, Giovanni did a blog where she claimed that she was in talks with WWE about a possible return. Giovanni said, "I'm just having phone conversations about a possible return to the WWE with VP of talent relations John Laurinaitis and his partner Mike Bucci." She also urged fans to send e-mails to WWE.com, telling them to say that they want Joy back in WWE. Anyways, Giovanni followed that up with a blog she posted yesterday. She says that she hasn't been offered a contract, but she has been invited to go to Ohio Valley Wrestling early next year.

WWE diva Michelle McCool has finally been sent home after being in the hospital for almost two weeks for an enlarged kidney. The SmackDown diva commented. "I'd been performing in pain during our overseas trip; that's when my back became an issue. I just couldn't ignore it any longer.” There is still no date on when McCool return, but she is scheduled to be at home for the next several weeks.

Lita and Trish have left. Victoria is taking time off. So that leaves Mickie as the only real credible female wrestler (well Melina can wrestle). Add to the further injuries to Michelle AND Candice. Yet they want to bring in models.

Whats becoming of our womens divison?

Bring back Chyna, Bring back Trish, Bring back LIta, bring in some fresh WRESTLING talent! i dont care as long as the womens divison doesnt become a ho divison.
