Division in the camp?

Seen and heard plenty more. I'm now 99.9% sure it's bullshit, and if anything it's the rumour doing more damage than anything. Sheens is good at creating a nice siege mentality and the boys like to knuckle down. I reckon this game is well worth watching.

So this is Sheens master stroke, if they win this weekend, he started the rumour to get the team closer, if they lose, he will blame the players for an incident that has created division in the camp, absolutley brillant Tim.:D

Wests Tigers boss Steve Humphreys denies altercation between Benji Marshall, Bryce Gibbs and Liam Fulton

Wests Tigers chief executive Steve Humphreys has taken aim at those responsible for spreading rumours of an altercation between three of his players - Benji Marshall, Bryce Gibbs and Liam Fulton.

The rumours began early this week but reached a crescendo on the internet on Friday, forcing Humphreys to speak out.

"It's just a sad indictment on the way people conduct themselves that they can spread such baseless rumours that are not only untrue, but very hurtful to the people involved," Humphreys said.
Meanwhile, Kiwi international Adam Blair is widely tipped to join the Tigers, whose salary cap position eased on Friday when it was announced fullback Wade McKinnon would head to England next year to play with Hull.

McKinnon had one year remaining on his deal but the Tigers will not stand in his way. His departure is likely to mean Tim Moltzen will stay at the Tigers after South Sydney dropped its interest in the utility.

However, forwards Bryce Gibbs and Liam Fulton have been given permission to negotiate with rivals and it is understood the pair met Penrith officials earlier this week to talk about next year.

At least one of the two is likely to leave.

Usually when the CEO starts denying it, there is a problem?

The Sunday Telegraph understands the Tigers are under increasing salary cap pressure after being fined $187,500 for breaching the $4.6 million limit last season.

Add to this the anticipated arrival of the Melbourne Storm's Kiwi Test forward Adam Blair for next season, plus the retention of Chris Lawrence, Blake Ayshford, Andrew Fifita and Aaron Woods, and it becomes clear why the Tigers are in a financial squeeze.

On Blair, Humphreys said: "There's been that talk, but it's certainly not a done deal.
"I think Adam will end up in a Sydney club but there's two or three who've pursued him. At this point no agreement has been finalised."

The Sharks have expressed interest in Fulton and Gibbs but they want the Tigers to pay part of their contracts if they head to the Shire. The Tigers obviously don't want to do that.

Moltzen has been discussed at the Rabbitohs and Sharks but remains in limbo and is believed to be on around $300,000 for next season.

The departure of fullback Wade McKinnon to Hull FC next year will ease some pressure.

Really poor management by the Tigers if Moltzen is on more than $150,000 - $175,000.

It was good to see the interraction between Marshall and Fulton as they ran on together for the second half...they're fine for sure

Regardless of anything else, they all had a go today and as a supporter that`s all you can ask.
Add Galloway, Tuquiri and Lawrence to the side and the Dragons are far from unbeatable.

I think you are being to generous in saying they all had a go. There we a couple of less than conspicious tryers out there.

We lack pace and agression from 1-5. The forwards quite often cop criticism and rightly so, but today they showed what they are capable of. Our 1-5 cost us today, not from lack of effort, they all tried hard, but just lack the ability required to contain and trouble backlines such as the Dragons.

Agree 100% Vicious.

FoxSports stated that Utai has broken his arm, so 1 down there.

Assume Lote will return next week? so does Brown then swap wings?

I'd like to see one of the young Fijian flyers get a go as we really need some pace.

However, does that mean Brown misses out?

Maybe it's time to make the big call and bring Mullaney or Meaney in at No 1 now as you'd assume that McKinnon won't be right for next week. Did anyone here so how those boys went at Leichhardt yesterday? Meaney scored a try and kicked 3 goals but that was playing in the centre.

I was close?

Furious coach Tim Sheens says Wests Tigers will do everything in their power to take action against those responsible for internet rumours about several of the NRL club's star players.

Sheens labelled a "disgrace" the emergence of unsubstantiated allegations on a social networking website that stars Benji Marshall, Bryce Gibbs and Liam Fulton were involved in a feud at training over a personal issue.
The rumours followed Sheens' barring of the team song after the poor display in scoring a lucky win over Penrith and reports of a clear-the-air meeting.
Meanwhile contracted big names Gibbs, Fulton and Tim Moltzen were told they were free to negotiate with other clubs.
"Every club's got issues with players coming and going," Sheens said after Sunday's 24-18 loss to St George Illawarra at Kogarah.
"The other stuff you are talking about is disgraceful.
"On the social media situation, there doesn't seem (to be) anything we can do about it.
"It's a disgraceful thing to be saying and pushing around about the team and the players and the individuals."

Asked if the Tigers could do anything about it, Sheens said: "The club will be, that's for sure."
"If someone could track it down that would be nice."
Captain Robbie Farah said the rumours had been amusing at first, but the joke had not lasted long.
"At first I had a little chuckle about it but then it got out of control and starts to affect the people involved," Farah said.
"It didn't affect us. If anything it probably brought us closer together."
Moltzen, meanwhile, said he had no intention of leaving the club before his contract finishes at the end of 2012.
"I don't want to go anywhere so I'm happy in the fact that I've got a contract for this year and going into next as well," he said.
"I'm not looking to move anywhere and the club's not looking to move me on so I'm happy where I am."
His chances of staying will be bolstered by the expected move of fullback Wade McKinnon, who suffered a hamstring injury in the warm-up on Sunday, to the UK Super League.
The Tigers will take some solace out of their strong second-half performance against the Dragons and will possibly have stars Lote Tuqiri (arm), Gareth Ellis (ankle) and Keith Galloway (concussion) back to play Newcastle Knights.
On a less positive note, winger Matt Utai suffered a suspected fracture to his arm at Kogarah.

Quote from a bloke who had SportsEars yesterday:

When Morris scored you could hear Cecchin say (on the Sport's Ears) ... "The Tigers players are bitching at one another"

its pretty obvious now that some hack RL 'journo' has fabricated this story to try and sell some newspapers.

Rothfield most likely, he's the worst at this sort of shit.
