Do the Panthers

Have the worst prop rotation in the NRL?

They are terrible. Dropped balled, missed tackles, poor metres.

Grant, Worth, F.Puletua and Clinton should all hang there heads in shame.

They are the reasons why the Panthers have lost the close games. They don't stand up to be counted.

CATS!

I think I've worked it out. No one rates our backs (except for Stewart), no rates our halves and no one rates our forwards. So the reason why we sit up the top of the ladder must be Toovey.

If they are the bad what does that make Manly's front rowers:lol:

One of the teams standing 8 points clear of the rest of the pack?

Panthers front row is awesome. What the hell?

Grant is a future star. He will improve with age and be one of the best in the game. Runs hard, hits hard. Takes hard hits and gets back up. Probably the youngest front rower in first grade atm, and holds his own.
Clinton has terrible hands from time to time, but he is a rock in defence and is one of our few players to fire up and never take a step back. Broncos chose signing him over keeping Petero.
Frank Puletua is one of the most consistant front rowers. An absolute workhorse.

Our backrow however, is constantly letting us down.
Tony Puletua is the softest second rower in the NRL, Frank Pritchard picks his games, Nathan Smith is a decent lock, but too small. Junior Moors was our best second rower. He did make a costly error, but he still had an awesome game.

Oh yeah, and Worth is crap. No doubt. But it is him or Norrie. Both are sh*t and make the same errors. That's our weakness in the front row. We only have 3 good props. The others aren't first grade standard.

every young penrith player seems to be a future star, atleast joel clinton is soon to be brisbane's problem, man i can't wait for next season to see the broncos fans wondering how they went from petero to clinton

I think the problem is that Penrith really dominate the Junior Reps, and therefore Panther fans (and a lot of other people too!) seem to come to the conclusion that all of these juniors are mega stars in the making. Some have it, some don't, regardless of their form in the juniors. For every failed SG Ball superstar, there's some kid who barely made the cut into the same squad that's on his way to a fruitful first grade career (look at Glenn Stewart and the guys he was playing Junior reps down at Illawarra with)

Tim Grant has been great for us since coming into first grade, remember his playing front row and is only 18 years of age.

Frank Puletuea, certainly isn't in the top line of props in the game by a long shot but has been Mr consistent for us over the past two seasons.

Clinton is a bit of an enigma, plays with alot of passion and can makes some great meters when his on his game but also consistently gives away stupid penalites and drops the ball at vital time.

Brendon Worth - I've taken to referring to him as Worthless. Simply not of first grade standard IMO.

4 of the top 5 teams have former Penrith juniors in their line-up, ontop of most of our team being juniors we produced. Last years premiers are looking at a Penrith junior to fix their halfback problems. And the Roosters best ever player... was a Penrith junior :) Not every Penrith junior is a star. Nor do we claim they will be. Only our more promising ones, which generally go on to prove us right get those claims.

Grant and Jennings are our 2 most promising juniors. Both have bright futures.

pretty harsh to say that about norrie... players player 4 out of the last 5 games in PL. played 80 minutes on the weekend, and made over 200 metres the weekend before

He isn't a first grade quality Front Rower.

All he ever does is miss easy tackles, or drop the ball when we're in a good attacking position.

and Frank signed with the Titans last year, and Clinton gone this year, maybe we dont value Prop's much, I am still waiting for Petrol to cost 70c at the Panthers :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

In fairness to jennings his an 18 year old kid who made a dumb mistake, 18 year olds who play first grade will do that occassionally.
