Yes they do have the worst prop rotation in the NRL
the sooner they get Andrew Pearn in there the better imo

Worth couldn't crack it in an ordinary Knights front row rotation

and penrith bought him.

every young penrith player seems to be a future star, atleast joel clinton is soon to be brisbane's problem, man i can't wait for next season to see the broncos fans wondering how they went from petero to clinton

I would rather Petero 8 days a week 26 hrs a day, but, the reality (at this stage) is that he wont be playing with the Broncos.
Having said that, Clinton whilst he is no Lazarus, he is also not a Jason King or Josh Perry.
Joel played for Australia 2004 under Bennett.
Sure, Wayne probably picked him, but he did represent his country.
Ok, so he has not gone on to greater things and he has dissapointed me with his play the past 18 months, but IMO, i think he will be fine for the Bronx in 2008.
If not then bring this thread up round 18 2008

Prediction By the middle of next year he'll be playing for Aspley.

Change is as good as a holiday Pantherz.
Might help playing under a "real" coach like Bennett who has coached some of the great props of the modern era.

foxsports.com.au are claiming Clinton is on $275,000 up at the Broncos. Yet they're crying wolf about losing Petero? That's massive overs for Clinton in my book, maybe the Clinton of a few years ago but now he's fairly inconsistent and well behind where he once was.

even a few years ago he was overrated and only made rep teams on the back of the panthers miracle run and we all know their forward pack was led by 2 kiwis, $275k for clinton is $150k too much

Way under the 430k a season that Shane Richardson signed him up for after the 2003 GF.

Why not instead of spending all day every day on here posting, you actually watch a game next time champ. King has been great this year.

Exactly. He's actually doing the work of a prop!

Bollocks.

Andrew Pearn...for one...aint good...never has...and never will be a first grade prop..He has about 10 players in front of him.

Frank Puletua - Consistently been very good
Tim Grant - 18 years old and playing in the toughest position on the field...and doing very well. Once he fills out, I have no doubt he'll be a first class prop...barring injuries
Joel Clinton - Just wish he'd f**k off now...but he makes 30-40 tackles a game and doesn't miss often.
Brendan Worth - Useless log and should be shot.

But we got others that are capable of stepping up like Steve O'Bierne and Alex Ranieri, along with a couple of other young props.

I still think Norrie has what it takes to be a solid first grade prop...like Stapleton was for us last year. He really needs to pull it together but and not be sh*t scared to take that step up. Goes great guns in PL but can't do jack sh*t in First Grade. It has to be a confidence thing.
