Chad townsend would not be a bad option either.
I would stick with Norman he has been good this year. Id see what guys like Cornish and Sami williams plans are as well as back ups in wenty.

I can't believe you idiots who somehow find our form and loses to be Sandow's fault  .... He has been one of our best players in just about every game this season, and is the only one who looks like putting on points for us.

Learn the game and move onto the real issues within our team and stop the Chrissy bashing!

Welcome to the forum!

WOW.... I must be watching different games to you lot. I must be dreaming when I see Sandow try his guts out to get us a result. I must dream when I see them depth little kicks to get us a repeat set or when I see the kicks from 30 meters out into the corner perfectly weighted to get us another set, the 40/20's, or the fact that he did everything he could yesterday to get us over the line only to watch Terepo drop the ball 8 times - or someone else on the second or third tackle, the penalty count etc. What else do you want from this guy?

I'll bet there's not much video done on us when opposing coaches look at what we are doing, coz nothing really changes from week to week with our attack, more times then not we're going to the left with Norman with the 2 block runners or Norman puts in a grubber that don't even make it in goal - or it goes dead.

If we want a half that compliments Foran, Trent Hodkinson would be a good option but probably wants to much.

1. Robinson / Bevan
2. Tupou
3. Hoppa
4. Mr T
5. Semi
6. Foran
7. Hodkinson

I reckon we could afford Trent if we really wanted him and still get Tupou. We could tell Norman he is free to look else where ( he shouldn't have much trouble get a contract somewhere) - this would free up a fair bit along with what we are offering Sandow would enable us to put a decent offer for Trent.

And I assume we would still have the ability to look at Tupou.

Hodkinson is probably the type of player we need at the moment, tough no-frills type of player that does the basics pretty good along with strong defence.

Worth some thought

Your dreams obviously only sees one exaggerated side of Sandow.

You have made a very good point in all of this which will go un-noticed by most on here because Sandow is the easy target and Norman currently seems to have most on his side.

Normans kicking is dreadful, His attacking kicks yesterday were horrible. So many times yesterday he basically shut any momentum we had with a horrible kick.

But lets continue to death ride Sandow

So he has no game at all you think?

I think he's a liability because his weaknesses far out way his strengths.

You also over exagerate what he can do because he's done it once and once only.

You were dreaming if you've seen this "depth little kicks to get us a repeat set" more than once in the 4 years Sandow has been here.

You were dreaming if you've seen "the kicks from 30 meters out into the corner perfectly weighted to get us another set" more than once in the 4 years Sandow has been here.

That's the thing with Sandow, he can do something once, but he can never repeat it. Why, because everything he does is a fluke...

The only thing he can do repeatedly is kick 40/20s, but even those have been few and far between this season. Oh and he can dummy and go himself, but that's so ineffective that it's just become embarrasing.

Dear Diary,

Today the Eels lost another game.

It has to either be the coaches or the halfbacks fault that we can't defend on our own line and since we have burned through so many coaches, it DEFINITELY has to be the halfbacks fault again! I just can't take it anymore, it's soooo totally annoying.

Oh well, there's always next year! Just ignore the fact that the only games we have won this year Sandow has had to play out of his skin. Sounds a bit familiar, like something Hayne had to do to carry this useless team to any victories

See you tomorrow babe,

LU user.

Well that's what he's for. If he's not going to play out of his skin every week then he clearly isn't providing the value we need.

I don't see this so-called off-contract great player Sandow with huge money offers enticing him away from the Club. In fact it appears the only reason that there is still conjecture on whether or not we will re-sign him is the fact that no one else wants him. He cannot be that good if he can get more at Parra, with two halves on decent money or better already signed up for 2016, than he can with anyone else.

That double movement by sandow was a game changer, hold onto the ball and we most likely score next tackle. Instead Storm score in the next set and never looked back.

Sandow is just so frustrating to watch, He can do some really good thing at times but some terrible things at the same time. At the moment, Foran / Norman is our best halves combo for us next year.

I doubt we go onto score to be honest. We're atrocious inside the oppositons 20 metre area. We probably would've panicked and dropped the ball on the 3rd tackle or something.

Does things once?

He has been consistent this year, and when people take the biased hatred away he has actually played well.

Some keys stats for playmakers that he is doing well in:

Try Assists: He has 6 and is coming third. (only behind Moylan and Thurston)
40/20s: He is first with 2 for the season.
Kicks to open play: He is 6th with 17 (behind Hunt, Marshall, Cronk, Mullen and DCE)

That is only a couple of stats I can find (for some reason stats are very hard to locate  but he clearly isn't doing things once and never repeating them).

You are watching a different game dude.

Sandows chip to semi was the low percentage play. All he had to was draw and pass. It was a 3 on 2 with storm players running backwards. They would never have stoped semi.

The double movement was just beyond stupid. Undefendable.

His fifth tackle kicks seem like no one knows what he is going to do so chasers are late, therefore useless.

Anyone who defends sandow has rocks in his head. If arthur re signs this guy then i have lost the little bit of faith i have left in supercoach.

Kicks to open play?? What the f#$k is that a stat of?

Incidentally, what did we do as a result of his two 40/20s?
