having just seen the sandow shoulder charge again, I think they should do the game of rugby league a favour and ban the little merkin for life

I hate the word pissant - but that little shit has lost me - it was a total pissant performance .... his leg injury is a convient bullshit story - he wasn't limping at all .... half the team is carrying injuries but putting in more than him .... spineless little pissant

his shoulder charges are so ineffective, he just bounces off the other player, hard to take them seriously

and good morning Swifty, yeh we should re-sign him

His missile tackles at the players legs last night were embarrassing

On that effort last night id play with 16 players and make him watch from the bench every week.

Sandow cant be dropped to Wenty unless Kelly is dropped first due to second tier issues remember. If the club don't release him then we are stuck with him in first grade unless he gets injured.

I think we are a chance of releasing him but only if it doesn't cost us anything. BA has said since asked "we will no longer be paying players to play for other clubs". If Warrington remove their request for us to pay out Sandow he may still be gone.

someone needs to have a serious discussion with the NRL and ask them how they expect us to handle the situation

they either need to accept he is injured - cos no self respecting, moderately healthy NRL player would put in so poor an effort .... OR they need to explain why we should be effectively throwing games by carrying a player who is not willing to make any effort

I'm not even talking about his defense - we all know he can be a woeful defender (he's actually been better in recent times) .... but he is an attacker - and if he is refusing to run the ball even a little then he is a pointless inclusion in any team

We have had some duds over the years. Dykes, McFadden, Witt et al but they always did their best and were never accused of not trying. However this Prima Donna after all we have done for him during the past 4 years is showing that not only is he a shit footballer but also a shit person. Never in all my time watching my beloved Eels have I detested a player wearing the jersey. Until now. That performance was there for all to see. We were in the game right up until the 50th minute and just needed something from our halves as our forwards were matching theirs. I don't care how much it costs us the little shit should never be allowed to put the jersey on again.

A disgrace and the worst performance from a halfback that I have ever seen. To think we let go a great clubman like Jeff Robson with a quarter of Sandow's ability to invest in this insipid and ungrateful fraud.

I hate to say it but if the NRL won't let us drop him then we need to permanently bench him.

Play with 3 forwards on the bench and put Paulo in at 6 with Kelly at 7 and make Sandow sit in the 17 on the bench for every game for the rest of the year. It will screw us but I prefer that to giving him the 7.

That little f**ker should never run on the field for us again.

Brad Arthur was just on triple m and said they will release him as long as we don't have to pay him out.

one thing hooper mentioned (and I know he's a telegraph reporter, so taken with a grain of salt) - is the 3rd party issue is related to an agreement made with a company via the former admin and that is now falling through

is there some sort of situation where associates of the former board have bailed cos their mates got the ass?

Only caught the last 20 mins, by the looks of it I saved myself a lot of frustration.

I turned it off with 20 mins left. Thats all you need to know haha. Typical boring ugly Dogs game and to make matters worse I was watching on a shitty stream which kept skipping  I did however catch moments of fluency to witness Luke Kelly punt it over the sideline on the full when attempting a grubber into touch while we were behind?

And I saw all the Sandow moments you need to see. Was a highlights reel of his career with us

PARRAMATTA coach Brad Arthur says Chris Sandow is free to leave the club and join Warrington but the Eels will not continue to pay his wage should he choose to do so.

Sandow and his management have until July 25, which is the Super League transfer deadline, to decide whether they will fight for a payout with the halfback reportedly claiming he is owed third party payments by the club.

When asked by Triple M NRL on Saturday that if Sandow chose to walk away from the club without a payout would he be free to do so, Arthur replied; “Yep.”

But the Eels mentor stressed they won’t be granting Sandow a release if they to continue paying his salary while he is playing overseas.

“Were not going to be granting Chris a release if we have to continue to pay him,” Arthur said

Sandow has a two-year-deal with the Wolves worth close to $1 million on the table.

He produced one of the worst performances of his career on Friday night with Arthur declaring, if the 26-year-old doesn’t want to play for the Eels he shouldn’t.

“We’ve had a few injuries but at the end of the day we need to make sure we have blokes who when they pull the jersey on play for their team,” he said.

“If Chris doesn’t want to play here it seems pointless.”

Sandow's time is up. Norman out for at least a month. Do we honestly think we can win a game with Kelly and Paulo/Takarangi in the halves?

BA also suggested that Wicks shoulder injury might now be at the point of no return regarding surgery too and that Choc is busted

I reckon we will have to bite the bullet soon and call it and send all these guys for surgery and sandow can go play with himself in the sandpit out the back of the ground
