Great news, we don't have to worry about the media shit when he is dropped tomorrow. And we now get some second tier relief.

thought Sandows tackle at least deserved 7 weeks.

.
Yep.
I've been one of the few who have refrained from bagging him lately. I thought his performances were far from poor.

HOWEVER, last Friday night was an absolute disgrace, and I can honestly say in all my years of following the Eels, and seeing some very sub par efforts, I've never in my life seen someone walk out with the intention of deliberately not putting in any effort whatsoever.
I don't make this claim lightly.
Sandow can go now as far as I am concerned.
He has heaped shame on the blue and gold jersey. I do not want, nor will I support, players treating our colours with such disdain.

I am glad he has been charged, but how does the dogs grub, with form for tripping, not get cited for a blatant trip?

If Reynolds did not connect, then he can't be charged.

Same as a coat hanger swinging arm that misses. As much as the intent was there, if he does not connect then he can't be charged.

Am I missing something ?

I agree one hundred per cent. I am still trying to get my head around all this. I've been following Rugby League for fifty years - and I've never seen anything like what Sandow dished up on Friday night. The players should have beaten the shit out of him in the dressing shed after the game. And then, for him to come out with that stupid face-book thing. He'll never play first grade in Australia again.

I think we should appeal the Sandow charge

and ask for an upgrading

Yeh, I think we should word our appeal very carefully too 'We're sick of you fat merkins at the f**king cheating judiciary ripping us off. We plead not f**king guilty you loathsome spotted reptiles, and demand to be given 12 competition points right now.'

Mate, I can't even bring myself to be as harsh as you.
I've always liked Sandow. I recently thought, as I said before, that he hadn't been playing that badly lately. I quite enjoyed him being our halfback, and considering we don't have many other options, he was more than an adequate replacement more our lack of planning for a long term half back.
Even at half time the other night, I stated in the game thread on this site that the game was there to be taken, and he could do it if he wanted.

However, what I saw in the second half was nothing more than an embarrassment to our club.
I've already said my piece earlier, but I'll add that on Friday night, I sat there dumbfounded, not quite believing what I was seeing.
It was clear for all to see that he just wasn't interested in playing for his mates. I've never, in 45 years of watching the Eels, seen anyone do this.
Hence why, I have no problems with ANY decision our club makes, bar paying him on any ongoing nature.

He has insulted all of us.

Darius Boyd tanked a few games before he walked out on Newcastle.

Apparently he's a top bloke now.

I bet Knights fans haven't forgiven him that quick.

100% my thoughts on this.
Up until Friday night I could forgive him his defensive lapses (mostly) but he has gone beyond forgiveness for me, for ever.
