Every workplace has a code of conduct, which staff are expected to abide by. For example, I work in the public sector, so my comments on political matters (for example) if I went public saying I worked in Department X and the Government's policies are poor or the like I would expect to be disciplined. That is the nature of my employment. If you want to say a person's religious beliefs mean you can ignore all such stuff, then you may as well throw out codes of conduct. You may as well then throw out certain laws too which people expect as people can claim religious belief as reasons to break them and you shouldn't be able to touch/punish them.
Folau has said this issue is not about money? Really? If it isn't, why didn't he take the settlement offer of $2 million offered by the ARU instead of suing for $10 million?
