Enough. He should not be playing in the pack, ever. You don't undertand the game like BA. I do. Back to Golf TV, merkin.
You said he was playing on the edges. You shot your big mouth of about it and couldn’t even get it right.

You absolute penis!

Anyone suggesting Flanagan will make a good coach as he speaks and analyses the game well on fox, never heard Bellamy try to do it a year or so ago………

don’t think the 2 skill sets are related….
It is when his average 2016 side beat the Storm to win their first comp.

How do people see us winning a peremiership?

If we get a new coach, do you believe he can do it with the current squad?

If we keep the coach, I don't see us winning with the current squad ..... we have a solid squad - a top 8 kind of squad - but there is no way we have the same personel as Melbourne, Manly, Penrith

I guess the question is where are we gonna make squad changes to give us a better chance? - even with a new coach

This is how in my opinion.

1 - Work spine. Moses and Mahoney are fine. Is D.Brown the 5/8? If not Gutherson moves there. If we keep D.Brown prob move Gutherson on.

2 - Need a fullback with spark. Is that Russel? Could be.

3. Strike centre - Penisini might be the goods.

4. Wingers. Sivo is lazy and slow and the other two Fergo and Dunster not much chop. Unsure solution. But D. BROWN at centre with Penisini with Waqa on wing may solve a few issues.

5. Are we that far away? We have forwards to compete and kicking game. We just lack explosiveness. A dangerous 1 and 3 and a strike winger transforms the side. So does a 5/8 who creates tries.

I don't think BA is silly. I feel like he knows this and has signed guys till a few young ones are ready.
Signing big names never works. Patience with juniors, smart mid range signings and a few throw back comes goods or guys like Pappali are what gets us a title.

Signing Manu for a mill will imo ruin everything we built. We just need to unearth a few gems. It isncertai kympossible Russel,Penisini,Hollis,Hughes,Grieg,Naikudi all explode onto scene next season. They are all at that age where probably close to ready. Hey they could all be flops too. But time will tell.

Interestingly looking at sides who change coaches recently and went on the win the comp, most had “superstars”

- Macguire / south’s - Inglis / burgess
- green/cowboys - both JT’s

while Robinson / Flanagan had Maloney (and SBW 2013 roosters / Cronk 17/18 roosters)

I know what you are saying. I'm trying to say that Flanagan is articulate and that stuff is important when you make a change. Maguire would be more of the same only angrier. Bellamy is the exception, talks dumb but gets results.

Yep. The Roosters won't pay Manu $1M, why should we? He won't end up at a contender for that money. He's no Latrell Mitchell. We saw that when they played in the same team.

I think we need both. A new coach and some new players. A new coach will have his ideas about how we should play and what players he needs and/or wants to get rid of.

We have already seen how Arthur wants the team to play and the players he has signed and re-signed. He has built this squad. It's not working. 8 years is more than enough time. There is also a very good chance the players have got a bit numb to his voice / instructions. Most coaches get stale well before 8 years. A fresh voice would do them good.

I couldn't give a shit how he speaks on Fox. I want him because he can coach, players at the Sharks & his lower grade players at Parra back in the day loved him and most of all he's a premiership winner.

All the commentary does is help with public relations.
