Should we take out a restraining order? We can't stop them. Western Sydney is where the players are. If Penrith wasn't so far away they would be losing more of their kids too. Don't forget Suaali player his junior rep footy for Souths despite living in Mt Druitt.
Isnt that the point Poo. Id suggest we recognise such threats and set up relationships, strategies etc. But if you'd prefer an open door policy, take your pick approach then Im glad you arent on our committees that look after our junior clubs.

Well pay, why was French chased by 8 clubs ? Why did Bellamy almost get French only to lose out before he signed for Parra. French was a massive talent that Arthur failed with yet again.
If he was that much of a talent he'd still be in the NRL. In fact is he was that good he would've ended up at a bigger club. Like how Latrell Mitchell ended up at the Roosters, or how the best Kiwis and Queenslanders seem to emerge at the Storm. Boyd Cordner was playing Harold Matts (and dominating) for Newcastle. Do you think they didn't want him to stay? They had no f**king choice in the matter.

All these clubs were interested in Bevan French but the scouts from the big clubs knew he wasn't worth blowing the budget on. It all comes down to resources, which is a nice way of saying money. Every club knew who Jarryd Hayne (from the Tigers catchment) was 20 years ago but the good ones did their due diligence and realised he was a risk. So of course he stayed at Parra.

And who do you mean by 'we'? Who should do this? The board? They have no experience in this. They need to hire people to do it, but from where? The Roosters? The Panthers? Why would they leave? We can't even offer them more money. We sacked a bunch of staff last year and forced everyone else to take pay cuts.

I reckon the way we are going, they will beat us. They have lost 9 in a row. The more you lose, the closer you are to a win.

These are the types of games parra lose anyway when playing half decent. Always seem to lose to teams on a big losing streak coming in.

These games stick out for me

Sharks 2009 at home 9 game losing streak

Penrith 2019 at bankwest 6 game losing streak getting hammered in the media faily about off field scandals

Newcastle 2017 at ANZ when they were winning wooden spoons hadn't won a away game in 2 years we were pushing for a top 4 spot and got done convincingly.

well I hope its bullshit, not a fan
Hed be crazy. He might have started believing the SOO hype. Club coaching is very different but at this stage Id prefer him than another year of the same. Hopefully our board has their eye on the ball.

So much talk about sacking Arthur - why not tap Kidwell, and Murphy, and replace them?

Maybe approach Ciraldo, and say, "Look, if you can help us get better, the head coach role is yours in 2023, if you want it,"?

But we need to do something - this current coaching team is not functioning.

It’s not just that my friend. It’s too late now but the roster needs an overhaul. We have plenty of money coming off contract next year and there are a number of players that we need to let go and go in another direction. They are stale and they will not necessarily respond to a new coach.

Also if BA is not in your plans in 2022 we need to cut him loose before preseason. Same thing happened to Brian Smith in 2005. Fitzy told him that 2006 was his last year before bringing in Hagan in 2007 and be only lasted half the season before he quit and was replaced by an interim coach; Jason Taylor.

They def have to go, but as long as BA is there, they will stay. They are joined at the hip it seems. The thing is, Arthur won't have any assistanrs who are a threat to his job.

Who should we let go in terms of players?

I'd happily let Gutherson go (12 months ago, I never thought I'd say that), and Sivo.

Dylan Brown is not popular, but he is 20, and under an attacking coach with a clue, he will shine.

Nathan Brown is out of form, but he is an all-heart player - those are worth their weight in gold.

Ryan Matterson may not be elite, but he's not far off - consistently pulls great numbers, but our coach thinks he's just a battering ram, and wastes his ball skills, and foot work.

I'd happily let Russell take Gutherson's spot, and move Waqa Blake to the wing, and bring in Penisini.

1. Russell
2. Blake
3. Penisini
4. Opacic
5. Dunster
6. Brown
7. Moses
8. Paulo
9. Mahoney (C)
10. Campbell-Gillard
11. Papali'i
12. Matterson
13. Brown

14. Kaufusi
15. Niukore
16. Lane
17. Hollis/Greig

That would be what I would do, given the available players off contract.

Fittler has a cushy existence and was arse f**ked last time he tried to be a first grade coach. I smell bullshit.
I think he's an incredibly gifted footballer. Such high quality for so long deserves talk of immortal status. But the immortal thing is bullshit so who cares. As far as coaching goes, nah, he's not in the picture.
